Are your Dreams really a Vision?

Scientists say that everyone dreams and if you ask around you may come to say the same thing but are these dreams also visions?  For some, this is a stupid question because for some reason or another, they believe that only a select few have the ability to see visions.  For others seeing visions are seen as things from the mind of someone suffering from hallucinations from some kind of drug or illegal substance.  So does dreaming make you a clairvoyant, or sage? Or are dreams only the re-living of past lives that your soul encountered?

For me, they are one and the same.  Now I do not have any proof of this and my purpose here is to only get you to think.  I have come to believe that dreams are visions and these visions are your soul re-living past experiences helping you to prepare for some upcoming event yet to occur in your present life.  I think these visions provide you avenues and routes to deal with what’s coming next and only those few able to decipher its meaning gains a leg up on those who cannot.  I believe this but I also believe that having this ability does not make you anything but a better person.  It does not place you higher on the food chain than those who cannot and it certainly does not mean you are “chosen” or more special than the person next to you.

This knowledge makes you a better person because now it become easier to understand others, empathize with them and even comfort them in their times of need.  It makes you a better person because now you can better accept your failings, learn from them, work harder to not repeat them and share the lessons you have learned with those who have yet to experience what you have.  Some may question how you become able to break down these visions or dreams but if you have to question how then it should be clear that you are not quite yet ready.  Fear not if you are not ready because your quest to better understand yourself will come in time, pray that it does not come too late.

To know the thoughts, intentions and desire of another one must first be able to understand these things about themselves.  You cannot aid another with a splinter if you still carry around a beam.  Know who you are and grow comfortable with it, only after that can you ever find comfort in others.  Never discount the dreaming of another whether it is during the night or day, allow them the freedom to seek answers that can only be found deep within themselves, deep within the soul.   Your vision should match the dreams you have for yourself and should never be casted upon another because what is heaven to you may be hell to them.
