Are your Secrets really Safe

When we speak about secrets it invokes certain feelings in us and not all of them the same.  For some, secrets are those little truths know by a few and sworn to follow us to our graves.  For others secrets are those little ideas, thoughts and desires shared with those closest to us attempting to find out their thoughts about them.  Not really sure if they are the things we wish to ever complete but worth thinking about and tossing around.  But to every single one of us secrets are those little things we carry around with us where ever we go and often a few of them are never shared.  The trouble with these secrets is that they never stay secret even if it takes years to expose them and they are even more likely to be discovered if these secrets are evil.

What I mean by evil is any secret that is devised with bad intentions, primary example of these are crimes and yes, sins.  Take for example the most recent story of the kidnapped 5 day old baby taken from his parents’ home by the mother’s half-sister.  You can read a full copy of the complaint here: http://bit.ly/1nh5QFS.  Apparently it has been revealed that this half-sister had been planning this for quite some time and had made the preparations necessary to cover up her intentions and hide her secret.  Needless to say that this secret was soon uncovered and thanks be to God, quickly enough to rescue and save not only the newborn baby but the pain and suffering that would have been dumped upon the family.  The only other question left to dissect is why all secrets especially evil intended ones are never safe and always exposed.

I surmise that the reason is simply that Satan has never been considered or even addressed as being smart.  We all know that evil is Satan’s domain so anything that has to do with sin is his to command and control.  Knowing this and seeing how often times crimes and sins being committed is looked upon as senseless and brain-dead actions, leads me to believe that a wave of ignorance sweeps over us and we proceed with what we think is a well-designed plan only to have the entire thing unravel sometimes right before our eyes.  When we hear of many crimes, quite often the same remark is made.  We ask ourselves or those who happen to be around us “what were they thinking” knowing all the time that they weren’t.

You see, there are no real secrets and even those with good intentions are revealed.  I’m talking about that secret of gifting someone because of their birthdays, holidays or just for the good feeling we get.  Eventually those are discovered because they must be in order to achieve our goal of bringing happiness and a smile to the faces of those we care about.  So what is it left to do when it comes to secrets and keeping them safe?  If you feel it necessary to create a secret, think first your approach or reaction to when it becomes exposed because it will.  Think second if that secret is of good intentions or evil and if it is of evil then refuse to convince yourself that you will ever be able to get away with it.  Some say that there are perfect crimes and those who committed them never get caught but consider this.  The committed crime is known by at least two people, the offender and God Almighty so is it really safe.  While man’s law may never hold that person accountable God certainly will and his wreath is much worse than anything man can dish out, that I promise.
