My Truth about the True Evolution of Man

I have been very much aware that there has always been a question of how man was created and while some say by God others say by evolution.  I never really had a particular stance on either because it was nothing I had ever seriously considered until my daughter asked me this morning if I thought that we really did evolve from monkeys.  It was then that I began to seriously consider where I stood and in an effort to insure that I always give my children or those seeking answers the best and most comprehensive that I can, I was struck with a thought. My Bible tells me that man was created in the image of God and it tells me that God is a spirit so if what my Bible tells me is true then man could never be an evolution from ape unless of course God was an ape.  If that was the case then why would not my Bible inform me that God was an ape and not a spirit?  So if I am to believe in the words of the Bible, then it is highly unlikely that man was ever an ape.  So what does this do for

The Cure to the Disease of the recent Homicide by Cops

There are misconceptions and then there are plain bonehead assumptions, when it comes to the recent rash of officer involved shootings and it appears that many are guilty of the later. A misconception is the assuming that someone is a bad person long before ever really getting to know or even taking the time to get somewhat acquainted with that person and defined as “.a view or opinion that is incorrect because it is based on faulty thinking or understanding.”  This happens a lot in life especially when we generalize about a certain segment of society based squarely upon the actions or perceived actions of some within that segment of the population.  If you consistently see a certain group of people committing crime over and over again, then one tends to assume and build a misconception that all people of that same particular group must also commit crimes on a regular basis.  This misconception leads us to assuming the worst or the best of a section of society even though there is oft

Why is knelling right for God but not for a song or a flag

We are conditioned to believe that the proper respect to our flag and national anthem is to stand with your hand over your heart and to show the proper respect to God is to kneel.  Question then becomes why is knelling okay for God but not okay for inanimate objects.  I think this all started when Colin Kapernick decided that he would protest a country who has not truly embraced the belief that all men are created equal.  I believe it began because the history of this great nation has been soiled by the acts of many who are claimed to have built this nation and upon those actions are actions not those of one who cherish the true nature of a free country but the true nature of a perceived free nation.  The argument then expanded into the celebration of an anthem that actually were celebrating slavery and the mistreatment of those unlike those allowed to thrive and prosper.  At first I did not think that argument had merit until I took a closer look at the words.  I found these word

When do we sin and which one is worse than the others

Many a Christian leaders wishes to tell people about sinning and how one is worse than another but many times those ideas are based upon what they heard or the piecing together of certain fragments from the Bible to make their assumptions appear true.  Now the Bible does asks us to accept another person’s truth and considering all that God has done for us, this request should be quite easy to do for him.  So when I hear Christian leaders spew information about how homosexuality is worse than greed, bearing false witness and so many others, I have to accept it but that does not mean I have to like it or agree with it.  It would be safe to say that I do not. There are a host of sins that mortal man and woman can and often times commit.  This is what is meant by no one being sin-free.  We can be free of sin however if we make up our minds that we will sin, but we will never be controlled by sin.  Being controlled by sin means that you cannot complete a simple assignment without havin
