The Infidelity of Man

Be it known to all who read this that I am not an expert in relationships, dating or human nature nor do I play one on television.  I am only a mere layman with the power of observation and that power, which is shared by all of us, is where I come from with this revelation.  I am sure that you have read or heard of hundreds of articles about why people cheat but none that I have ever seen or heard of have mentioned what I consider the number one reason.

Many have been preaching that the reason men cheat is because it’s part of their DNA or some animal instinct.  I think these reasons are just an excuse and with any excuse if you play it long enough people will start to believe it and do nothing more than except it as fact.  Many preach that the reason women cheat is because it is to even the “playing” field for both the sexes or just plainly to get even.  Again, it is my belief that these are excuses and fall along the same line as previous stated.  Here is what it’s all about.

It all should start by understanding why loyalty is lost art and when seen is viewed as something worthy of praise instead of something that should be commonplace in all humans.  Lack of loyalty is the one and only reason people cheat.  You see this is your everyday life from the type of car you drive to the type of food you eat.  We all have heard the saying that “variety is the spice of life” and if you haven’t you will hear it as soon as you catch your significant other cheating.  This variety thing is as about as useful as a second nose on your face and with all other excuses just as misleading.  A man who claims that he is a “meat and potatoes guy” will occasionally try something new if for no other reason than to say he had the experience.  Many “meat and potato guys” will try and stick to one particular type of meat to claim that mantle.  They will eventually sneak a taste of something else outside of these groups and to demand loyalty to the title that has claimed seems to them to be unnecessary and too controlling.  Watch what happens when an individual steps into a store to purchase his/her brand of any item and that brand is not available.  Many will attempt to choose another brand that is available to replace it; this ladies and gentlemen is not loyalty.

To obtain this elusive trait that demand applause when seen, all one has to do is decide that they are going to.  If you claim to be a Budweiser man then except nothing but.  You will still be able to experiment by trying the different types of Budweiser and still remain loyal to your elected brand.  A man who claims to be loyal to one woman must make his mind to be just that and brush aside any inclination to stray.  It is very possible for this to happen because no matter how seductive any other woman may be, a man who has sworn his loyalty to another woman will be able to resist.  The question is will him.
