GOP Frontrunners starting to get better on the Campaign Trail

Finally we are getting to the point where reporters are demanding to get a sense of the policies these potential presidential nominees in the GOP.  So much has been made of their past stances and so far not many have stood firm on any of those of the past.  This election is vital to the nation and the late thing we need to hear about is trivial matters like headaches.

Brendan Farrington of the Associated Press in his article titled Bachmann says she'd consider minimum wage changes gives us our first real view on what kind of president Michelle Bachman might be when she was asked about the minimum wage.  It was reported that she was quoted saying "I'm not married to anything. I'm not saying that's where I'm going to go," she said.  She did say she wants to look at all aspects of doing business, from regulations to tax codes, and will consider anything that will help create jobs. The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour.  "I want to bring advisers in from labor and from manufacturers and from the service industry and financial services. I want to know what they know, because that's what we've been missing from President Obama. He has virtually no one in his Cabinet with private sector experience," Bachmann said. "I want to bring people who know how to create jobs into my administration."

Decent answer but missing much truth, nevertheless, getting her to finally address real concerns is a good thing.  It’s time to see their plans about all of the top issues facing this country and give those that may want to vote for them an opportunity to see exactly what they will be voting for.  Enough of this speculation about what they will do, time to put it on paper.  GOP Presidential Candidates past statements may give you a measuring stick but now that they are officially in the race, its time for details.  I have heard many of them speak about our present president regarding not having a plan but that’s so much like the pot calling the kettle black.  Before reporters, journalist and the American public begin accepting their rhetoric about others not having a plan, we must demand that they show one.  If Obama must show a birth certificate, then GOP candidates must show a plan.
