Eliminate Violence in America by forcing Males to Cry

Many men can remember being told that a man doesn’t cry and to do this shows your weakness.  Some even believe that the male species carry the world on their shoulders; while I do not believe in either of these I have been wondering why the nation and the world have become even more violent than it was in the Wild Wild West Times.  Had a conversation with my significant other and asked her the question of why many women cry all the time.  She explained that tears are a release and they can represent completely different things.  They cry when they are sad, they cry when they are happy and they cry when they are mad.  This made me began to wonder if this world would be so violent had males been taught to cry instead.

We know that the majority of this nation and world violence are started by and lead by males.  We know that in order to reduce our stress level we need to have a avenue to express our feelings but we also know that many males are being lead to believe getting touch and expressing your feelings are not manly.  We know that as these feelings stack up their will undoubtly be an explosion where all of these will boil over.  The only thing we do not know is when or where this will happen.  It could happen in the classroom, at the job, in a restaurant or on the street.  This provides a very good argument that crying at different things and for different reasons works quite well for females and their number of violent crimes and actions are quite smaller percentage than that of males.  Knowing this, would it also not fit that maybe crying more form males would have the same effects?

I know that a “real” man is not afraid to cry and a smart man will choose this avenue if it does work prior to heading straight to violence to prove his point or stand his ground and males carry no heavier weight than the weight that females carry.  I know that we all need a release for our pent up frustrations and I know that the shedding of tears are far less costly than the shedding of blood.
