The Difference between the Anti and the Pros

If you have ever given any thought to this subject then you have probably come to the same conclusion that I have.  If you haven’t then it’s time you spent a few minutes to consider this.

If you are pro anything you are for it which means that if you are pro-life then you are for life and not death in many cases but can sometimes get confused when your stance is questioned by situation like going to war.  If you are pro-choice then you are for each individual having the choice and not being forced in one direction or another.  This stance rarely, if ever, provides you with a dilemma because it always goes back to the individual’s choice.  Some have confused this issue with abortion and will scream to the high heavens when a female makes a choice of aborting.  They scream that this is the same as murder and should not be allowed in this society but as they scream to save the life of a fetus, they condemn the doctor or female to death.  These are the same people who often carry around a flag that says “Don’t Tread on me”.

One would have to wonder if they are that charged about stopping abortions; they would compromise and allow women to choose contraception which could prevent unexpected pregnancies which, at last thought, were the primary reason for some seeking birth control.  Now the other major reason for birth control is strictly medical necessity.  People like my sister who need to stop the growth which will occur without it.  Now surely the anti’s would concede this?  Here again is the difference between being anti and being pro because allowing the individual to choose what is best for them is clearly a better stance than dictating.

Kinda reminds me of another group that refused to accept compromise which resulted in the crucifixion of Jesus.  Remember those Pharisees that were constantly questioning Jesus and even though he answered all their questions and provided them with all the proof any reasonable person would require still did nothing to appease them.  Now some would argue that this had to happen because it was written and while I can not argue with that I can say that just because it is written does not mean it is not worth discussing.  Wonder what would have happened if just a few of those Pharisees would have had the heart to stop and question those that were anti-Son of Man?
