Who pays for the GOP treachery and hypocrisy?

It is one thing to crow about our “founding fathers” and how they sacrificed to fight for the freedoms that we enjoy while doing all that you can to completely undermine those very freedoms.  You may be believed that you have the best interest of this nation at heart and win on that rhetoric but actions prove more and more your true intentions.

Case in point is this article by Joe Wolverton, II for The New American titled Wisconsin GOP Accused of Electoral Manipulation .  In it he reports about “a cadre of Republican insiders have devised a plan to place the names of fake Democratic candidates on the ballots in two upcoming special elections.”   He samples a report by the Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Journal-Sentinel Online (JSO) and details about “The elections involved in the alleged scheme are part of nine state Senate seats where incumbents could soon face recall elections as a result of their actions in the recent budget battle with Governor Scott Walker.”

Was this the meaning of the cry for taking their country back, doing whatever it took to regain that which they felt they had lost when Obama was elected president?  Going as far as to demean the legacy of not only those American fighting men and women who fought and died for the freedom of a free and fair election but for those who are still suffering from injuries received on the battlefield as well as those currently serving.  You would think that a party who claims to defend the rights of all it’s people would know that actions like these goes way beyond the grain of the freedoms so many of my fellow servicemembers sacrificed for.
