Islamist militants miss the clear warning of Bin Laden’s death

Sometimes when a brick falls on your head, you still do not get a clue that the building you are standing near may be falling down.  Only after getting trapped or killed does it become clear that there were plenty of warnings none of which you heeded.  Same can be said about the death of Osama bin Laden to terrorist or militants who seek to control by fear instead of lead by majority.

Reuters produced and article titled Islamist militant leads prayers for bin Laden in Pakistan in which they reported that “the founder of one of Pakistan's most violent Islamist militant groups has told Muslims to be heartened by the death of Osama bin Laden, as his "martyrdom" would not go in vain, a spokesman for the group said on Tuesday.”  Pakistan seems to be the place all terrorist leaders go to escape justice and live in the lap of luxury while those they entice to join them live in mud huts.  If the death of bin Laden taught them anything it should have been that this president does not mind enraging Pakistani leaders to deliver swift and final justice to those who threaten, harm, injury or kill our citizens, our friends, allies or way of life.  They should know by now that if he says it, he will do it and keeping his word to the American people is all that truly means anything to him.

The pirates who were holding the captain hostage was warned to let him go or face the consequences, they ignored the warning and thought that what they had heard about this president was true.  They had heard that this guy was too weak and was more a man of inaction than action.  They were so very wrong.  Osama bin Laden must have thought the same and past events have shown just how wrong he was.  Now comes this Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let), and its leaders Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, who believes that he will be able to pick up where bin Laden left off.  The building in beginning to crumble and the bricks are beginning to fall.  Terrorist best bet is to renounce and repent from their murderous ways, join a political party to effect the change they wish and take their chances with democracy.  They have a better chance of long-term survival by becoming political than staying radical.
