Heat comes into game 4 on cruise control and leave with a loss

From the tip-off of game 4 between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, it was like seeing a well rehearsed play falling apart scene by scene.  For dire-hard Heat supporters like me, it was very painful to watch and the only solace was when Dwayne Wade and LeBron James finally decided to take over the game.  That feeling soon died and even though they had the lead, it never again felt like the Heat was in control.
Dan Gelston, AP Sports Writer said it best in his article titled 76ers rally to beat Heat 86-82 in Game 4,
“The sweep for the Heat was 95 seconds away. Miami held a six-point lead, had The Big Three on the court and a bevy of clutch plays behind them.  All the 76ers had was their unwavering belief.  When they told Doug Collins in the huddle late in the game, “We’re going back to Miami,” his reply was a simple one.  “I’ll be there with you,” said Collins, the Sixers coach.”  The Heat appeared to be mired in mud and completely disorientated.  The shots that fell so easily before this game were hitting the rim of the basketball hoop like lead bricks and some never even made it that far.  It appeared that the Heat had come into game 4 on cruise control, maybe looking past the Sixers and ended up having their heads handed to them.

If I was a real conspiracy theorist, I would say that this and the Chicago Bulls game was a result of the league greed instead of a contest between teams.  I would say that Chicago and Miami lost for no other reason than to play the final game in their home arenas.  To bring more money to their city and fill the never-empty pockets of management and ownership.   The Heat did not spread the floor like they had in the past nor did they move shooters around.  Chris Bosh was practically non-existing on both the offensive and defensive end of the court.  There was no one willing to go after the loose balls or extend themselves at all.  The players spent more time looking for the referees to call fouls than they were for their shot.  I do not know what game 5 will look like but if the Heat comes into it as lax as they seemed to be in this game, the Sixers may just make history by coming all the way back and getting to the second round.
