Pastor Terry Jones and his assistant Wayne Sapp, Hero or Public Menace

Honestly I thought that cooler and more intelligent heads had prevailed and this Koran burning congregation had moved on, to the demise of many and the death of others, I was wrong.  Ignorance of the law is one thing but to have been advised to what may happen means that the only stage left for this so-called Pastor and his henchman should be in the courts.

Reading the article from Matt Gutman, Nick Schifin, Agha Aleem and Lee Ferran titled Pastor Terry Jones Receives Death Threats After Koran Burning-Florida Pastor Willing to Die for His Beliefs Even at the Expense of American Soldiers reporting that “Jones said he feels no responsibility for the violence sparked by his church's action, including the violent protest at a United Nations complex in Afghanistan Saturday that left at least 11 people dead - and 20 killed in weekend violence.  Jones said his beliefs are more important - even at expense of American soldiers. Of Saturday's violence, Jones said it proved his point. "We see growth around the world – we feel very strongly for U.S. - United States, U.N. to stand up and do something…Muslim countries must open doors to freedom in," Jones said”  leaves me with one thought.

If the driver of the car for bank robbers can be considered an accomplish to the bank robbery and be held as a conspirator if a life is lost, why can’t the same do done for Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp.  Let’s not allow his life to be taken by violence, let’s take away his freedom by the rule of law.  Who knows, his presences in prison may be the best gift we could give to prisoners who really need to be administered to.  A provoking action is always a way to get things moving but if that action moves things in a negative direction; it should not be a condoned one.  To say that you are a Pastor and you follow in the footsteps of Christ confuses me because Jesus has never conducted himself like this.
