Rachel Maddow does it again

I was well aware that Republicans had campaigned on the need for jobs and still none have proposed anything close to creating jobs but quite a few in eliminating jobs.  I was aware that much of the work that was being done in State government all around had more to do with women’s rights and abortion than anything else but in the method that only Rachel Maddow can do, have I been further educated in the extent that these new lawmakers all over this country were willing to go.

Her guest for The Interview was Ms. Terry O’Neill of the National organization for Women and the discussion was on the Nebraska Abortion Bill which had spawned several other copycat bills all over this country.  They discussed that the Nebraska bill prohibited abortion at the 20 week frame but they Ohio bill was reaching further back to the 5 to 6 week frame.  It was discussed that the current law of the land Roe vs Wade banned this and there fore it was blatantly unconstitutional but the reason many do not wish to challenge it in court would be because it was destined to make it to the Supreme Court and with the activist judges there, Roe vs Wade would surely lose by a 5 to 4 vote.  I could clearly see the frustration on both their faces and when Rachel asked Ms. O’Neill what the end game was she had no idea either.  Now I am not a female but this is not the kind of freedom that I and many other veterans fought for.  We fought for the right to choose for all Americans and not for a select few to choose for anyone.

While I am no expert, Ms. Maddow, I do have a solution to all this.  Pass the word to all you know and tell no one to challenge it in court for fear that the 5-4 vote would kill Roe v Wade.  Ms. O’Neill’s group as well as unions and everyone that we can muster are to start rallying for challengers to the lawmakers who voted for it.  When it comes time to recall of vote them out of office make it an over-whelming defeat and insure that they know it was because of them attempting to deny Americans their God-given rights.  Replace them with people who would immediately repeal that law and get it done on the first day.  Then have that same group pass another law which states that no law can be made which blatantly violates existing constitutional rights from that day forward.  Just my opinion but I think it will work.
