Prank phone call forces Wis governor to show his hand

Associated Press writer Ryan J. Foley quotes Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as saying "That was the first crack in the Berlin Wall and led to the fall of the Soviets," in his article titled On prank call, Wis. governor discusses strategy, it further states that Walker believed the caller was a conservative billionaire named David Koch, but it was actually the editor of a liberal online newspaper. The two talked for at least 20 minutes — a conversation in which the governor described several potential ways to pressure Democrats to return to the Statehouse and revealed that his supporters had considered secretly planting people in pro-union protest crowds to stir up trouble.  But the most exposing thing was when he compared himself to Ronald Reagan and it gave me a feeling that he was looking for more than just the title of President.  I think he appeared to be looking for more of his place in the history books.

He had experienced success within the first few days he has been in office and probably thought that he was made of Teflon and pushed his power more and more.  Only after being exposed and tacking too far to the wrong side did it come to a screeching halt.  All that he is left to do is lay off workers after giving away millions of dollars in tax cuts which first put them in this so-called budget issue.  Where are the adults of the Republican Party?  When will they step up and say enough of dragging my party through the mud and making us look bad.  During the healthcare debate we heard many speakers scream about taking back their country, when are they going to take back their party?
