Kennedy which reads “Our problems are man-made — therefore, they can be solved by man”, we should then have the recipe necessary to not only correct the issues of this world but end the cycle of repetition.  Above is a picture of Milton House in Milton, Wisconsin.  It is described as recognized by the National Park Service's Network to Freedom as the last, certified Underground Railroad station that can be toured in Wisconsin. The Milton House operated as a stop on the Underground Railroad or "UGRR" from its construction in 1844 through the Civil War. Growing up in the south, I heard many stories and was lied to many times.  The stories I heard of was about the accepted fact that black men were either destined for jail, the graveyard or limited to working as a farm hand or in the local cotton gin.  I heard these stories from both blacks and whites and after a while began to believe them and settle in for what I was destined to do.  What changed was among those stories was the fact that as a black man, it would be a miracle to even graduate high school.  Like all children growing up, I dreamed of that big house with that white picket fence surrounding it and being able to walk out on my porch and be addressed as mister instead of boy.  To be able to purchase what I wanted when I wanted and do for my mother more than she had ever done for me.  I wanted her to be proud of the boy that she had raised and the man I had become.  It was my desire to not have her want for anything and not have to work so h...

What began as a banner for those who were convinced of the greatness of the south’s way of life to rally, fight and die under has now been reduced to a rally for those who would love to see a nation once divided separated again.  So for the reason for which it was created, those who share its heritage and hold close the primary purpose for its creation should be allowed to fly it and fly it proudly. It should not and never should again fly over Federal, State or local government buildings simply because there are some rightful citizens within this nation, this state and this community who do not care to embrace the results of this flag’s current reduced notation and since this country is bigger than the personal desires of one group, majority should rule as the primary principal of all states of this nation for which it stands.
