Defending Right does come with a Price but not for those who choose to Stand

It is so breath-taking and refreshing to see or hear about a human being that refuses to follow directions from their superiors that they object to and in some cases these objections are not very popular within the community as a whole but every once in a while it is.  This is one of such a case where standing up for right did come at a price but not one paid by those who make a courageous decision to display their spine.  The story in question comes to us from Reuters written by Daniel Wiessner and titled “ CVS required workers to racially profile shoppers, lawsuit claims” The story claims that “managers at CVS Pharmacy Inc. stores in New York City required loss prevention staff to racially profile shoppers and subjected minority employees to racist slurs, a lawsuit against the Rhode Island-based company claimed. The one and only True Lesson of the Bible

So many religious leaders want you to know what lessons the Bible teaches and each has their own ideas of what that lesson is.  The problem comes when their idea of that lesson conflicts with my idea then as Satan would have it, the arguments begin.  We send more time trying to convince another that we are right than we do investigating our own ideas and thoughts to see if they are right.  It soon becomes unimportant if we are truly right as long as we are willing to act like we are and not allow anyone else to sway us from believing it.  We spend the majority of everyday looking at the decisions of another person comparing them to decisions that we may have done differently and then attempting to prove that point.  At no time  publicly , do we consider that we may be wrong or that there is truly no right or wrong answers.  At no time do we consider that what you believe is your right to believe and even though we may not agree with it, we can at...

Edward Snowden is no Hero

The number one question is all of media centers around Edward Snowden who some say, bravely risk his life to bring us this revelation that our government has been spying on us in a most horrendous way.   The question of hero or traitor is being banned about like a tennis ball with each side presenting their takes and depending on whom you talk to or who is interviewed, one may walk away wishing to believe each separately.   News flash, Edward Snowden is no hero. Check you history America before you go tagging Mr. Snowden with the title of hero.   My fellow military members are heroes.   Firefighters, police officers, teachers, whistleblowers-on occasion, employers, employees, single moms and dads, unselfish givers and activists are but a few examples of heroes and Edward Snowden is nothing like any of them.   You see, heroes run toward the battle not away from it.   Heroes stand up and make attempts at fixing the problem; they do not sneak or sell th...
