The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend-GOP working Hard to Damage Country

I consider it quite ironic that many of those who claim to love this country so much would do whatever may prove beneficial to them or their cause to achieve that goal at the expense of anything and anyone else.  Image in one breath saying how much you love your country and in the next, using language that gives those who don’t the ammunition they need to prove to their followers just how bad your country is.  And to top this off, those same mouthpieces has the audacity to say that their truth is not what anyone should be focused on, it should be their enemies’ faults. Take for example and article titled “ Giuliani in WSJ: 'I Didn't Intend To Question President Obama's Motives'  written by  Catherine Thompson in which she reports that  “former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) on Sunday took to the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal to try to clarify his comments about President Barack Obama's love for the country.  Giuliani told a conserva...

Journalism Laziness the new catch phrase for media failure

In an article written by Eric Lach for TPM MUCKRAKER titled “ Obamacare Foe Sneaks Back Into Media As Just A Regular Guy” , Columbia Journalism Review’s Ryan Chittum coined a phrase that I believe defines many in America, even though it greatly fits our once accomplished reporters, journalists and commentators.  The article was about a man who appeared all over the media circuit claiming to only be just a regular businessman complaining about how Obamacare was damaging his business when in fact he had ties with the very organization “the Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), a conservative, pro-business group that, among other things, was a ferocious opponent of Obamacare. (The NFIB was part of the multi-state lawsuit that challenged the constitutionality of the health care law.)”.  In other words the cornerstone of real journalism, the need for full disclosure, was ignored by those trusted to bring us all the news without bias.  They failed and failed mightily wh...

More Bad News for Mitt Romney-Housing Bust is over

And hits just keep coming for Mitt Romney and the Romney Team who seems to have bet on the economy getting so bad that the American voters have no choice but to vote Barack Obama out and him in.   Personally I can’t say that I am sorry that the economy is making a slow but steady comeback despite the major lending institutions sitting on trillions of dollars instead of putting country first.   Despite those in Washington so determined to undermine this administration at all cost even if it means sinking the entire nation to do so.   Despite those who just can’t stand seeing a Black man in the White House unless his title is janitor.   Despite those whose hatred of this man has clouded their better judgment and made them so determined to chase him away from Pennsylvania Avenue that they are willing to accept any kind of lie to make them feel better.   For those of us who truly pay attention, we know that the lagging indicator of any policy and this economy i...
