Why many are saying we are losing our Country

Talk to anyone who has a strong opinion about immigration, gay marriage, terrorism, racism or choose from any other highly dramatized topics of today and you will hear someone say that we are losing our country.  The sad part is they are correct but the rational for saying it could never be further from the truth. Some wish you to believe that we are losing our country because of the massive influx of immigrates sneaking into this country and violating our laws, our people and it’s way of life.  Others wishes you to believe that we are losing our country because of those who envy us and our way of life so they are bound and determined to make this nation into what they would like it to be.  And then there are those who say that certain Americans are destroying this country from within by pushing the agenda of a certain evil never before seen.  All can present a pretty good case for their belief but it does not make it right, it only make it passionate. My th...

How Misguided Religion has corrupted our Country, Our Politics and Our World

The battle of religious freedom and liberty rages on currently and both sides have seemed too staked out their positions, each proclaiming that their side is more righteous than the other.  Depending on whom you talk to, you may be able to see and understand the justification of each but as evil would have it; you will be the only one.  There shall never be a true “meeting of the minds” because if that is the case then the war would end and evil loses when there is not a war to fight.  So ask yourselves, all of you highly educated individuals, why is it so important for evil to have us all at war with each other?  Is it to drive us toward a better understanding of each other or could it be to drive us directly to him?  Evil creates division simply because it can and gets a serious treat out of seeing the very rulers over him, stumble all over each other because we are not yet smart enough to be able to recognize which rules are truly of God and which ones only ...

The Myth of Marriage

Many people claim that marriage according to the will of God is between one man and one woman.  Because so many say this and are supposed to be experts in this subject, most of the world follows right along, but what if I told you that this is really not the will of God but the will of man.  Will you then open your eyes and realize that man has a habit of replacing God’s will with his own in order to justify his greed and unquenchable desires.  What if I told you that marriage is not a godly institution at all and is all made up by man.  Would you be willing to pick up the Bible and check for yourself or would you choose to continue to stay clueless?  You probably would because I keep saying what if I tell you or show you and by this, I give you a clear excuse to ignore what I am writing.  You are given a convenient excuse not to even take a few minutes to check out what I am saying.  Well fear not for we thought of that and instead of listening a...

Recent Events Harkens us back to Revelations

In The Book of Revelations, it is written that a new king will arise and this new king will bring the people together with their new ways of believing.   Their actions will make all those who may have strayed from the group re-think and re-connect because finally the group will be saying and doing the right things.   I call your attentions to the recent words of Pope Francis who has now taken reign of the Catholic Church and spreading the feelings of good will and grace all over the place.   He might not have changed the policies of the Catholic Church on their stances like abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptives but his actions, thus far has gone a very long way to bringing back all those who left before.    Not to mention the recent revelations from the new president of Iran President Hassan Rouhani who has been discovered as exchanging letters with President Obama and saying things like no nuclear weapons in the country and yes, even the n...

The Question about Relationships

Many people seemed quite confused about the value of a relationship, any relationship, so today I would like to try and help some understand what makes relationships. For some it’s the interaction, for others it’s the distance you travel mentally and emotionally and for others it’s the results at the end of the day.   Believe it or not relationships are those things and so much more but the common thread that holds it all together is past experience. An example is in my past I met a real true angel named Susan.   She showed me what life, love and happiness was all about.   I did not know that then because I had never experienced it before.   I thought it was all about choosing a mate and sticking with them through thick and thin but when it became apparent that it was solely my idea and not one shared by those sharing a relationship with me, that idea soured.   Because that was my only idea of a relationship, I flopped around like a fish out of water f...

Exposed, the Story behind the Hatred of Obama

For quite some time now (around 3 and ½ years) I have been asking the same question.   Where does this intense hatred for Obama come from?   Yesterday, all the pieces fell into place and revealed a strange and disturbing picture. It became quite apparent to me that the major reason many stand against this President is simply because they figure he is weak and would not be able to exercise the power of the office.   They step to him not as an equal but as an inferior product.   To a person, it was believed that he was not smarter than they were and each time he demonstrate his mental capabilities they are shown to be one step behind.   This seems to be the primary reason for this intense hatred and can be evidenced by how many discount anything he says or does.   It makes them run to the nearest microphone to dismiss any achievement.   Take for example this article written by Rick Klein of ABC OTUS News titled Obama’s Immigration Surprise Puts GOP ...

The Difference between the Anti and the Pros

If you have ever given any thought to this subject then you have probably come to the same conclusion that I have.   If you haven’t then it’s time you spent a few minutes to consider this. If you are pro anything you are for it which means that if you are pro-life then you are for life and not death in many cases but can sometimes get confused when your stance is questioned by situation like going to war.   If you are pro-choice then you are for each individual having the choice and not being forced in one direction or another.   This stance rarely, if ever, provides you with a dilemma because it always goes back to the individual’s choice.   Some have confused this issue with abortion and will scream to the high heavens when a female makes a choice of aborting.   They scream that this is the same as murder and should not be allowed in this society but as they scream to save the life of a fetus, they condemn the doctor or female to death.   These are t...

NAACP makes an historic step toward Civil Rights for all

For many African-Americans there is a quiet celebration going on because of the historic step the oldest and most respected group took yesterday.   The Associated Press reports in their article titled NAACP backs same-sex marriage as civil right that “the NAACP passed a resolution Saturday endorsing same-sex marriage as a civil right and opposing any efforts "to codify discrimination or hatred into the law." “The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's board voted at a leadership retreat in Miami to back a resolution supporting marriage equality, calling the position consistent with the equal protection provision of the U.S. Constitution.   "The mission of the NAACP has always been to ensure political, social and economic equality of all people," Board Chairwoman Roslyn M. Brock said in a statement. "We have and will oppose efforts to codify discrimination into law."   "Civil marriage is a civil right and a matter of civi...

The gay marriage Debate maybe why this Presidential Election may be closer than it should

Vice President Joe Biden is credited with bringing this topic to the level it is currently but I think what really flipped the lid was when Education Secretary Duncan spoke.   Two of his top officials and those closest to him have spoke their minds about what they believe and to them I say “good for you” but now all focus is on President Obama and what he will say about his evolution.   Some experts are saying that he needs to step up and define better his actions with his rhetoric.   Some experts are saying stay quiet because you may just motivate the other side enough to lose the 2012 election to Mitt Romney.   Both have good points but what I think is being missed is how the Tea/Republican Party are poised to jump on him as soon as he begin speaking.   They are probably putting their talking points together right now. What really bothers me and should be a caution to so many others is the greed displayed by those on the support of gay marriage.   It ...

Obama Administration stops defense of anti-gay marriage law and strikes a blow for true equality

It’s been a long time coming but finally its here.   A decision that no longer forces one belief over another and offers to all equality seldom seen but often sought.   My pride for this administration just shot up several notches. According to Pete Yost of the Associated Press reports in his article titled Gov't drops defense of anti-gay marriage law the Obama administration said Wednesday it will no longer defend the constitutionality of a federal law banning recognition of same-sex marriage.   Attorney General Eric Holder said President Barack Obama has concluded that the administration cannot defend the federal law that defines marriage as only between a man and a woman. He noted that the congressional debate during passage of the Defense of Marriage Act "contains numerous expressions reflecting moral disapproval of gays and lesbians and their intimate and family relationships — precisely the kind of stereotype-based thinking and animus the (Constitution's) Equal P...
