Since the beginning of time, man has always separated themselves into categories.  These categories were defined by those making the separation and seemed to always amount to them placing the group to which they belonged as higher than all the rest.  This idea is borne out by history beginning with the mentions within the Old Testament of the Bible about the Pharisees and Sadducees as those with whom God only speaks and the words or rules that they expound should never be questioned and seen as coming directly from God.  It is borne out by even Moses writing within the Bible that only those from the tribe of  Levitt  can be called as priests and it continued  with the Native Americans, the slaves, the Irish, the Jews, women and so many more groups of people not viewed as equal.  This kind of thinking still remains prevalent today and has even been documented and made true by our past, present and current history books. Many those of the Christian circles and some even with very little belief in God may say that God never makes mistakes and while I used to think that was true; I have discovered that he did.  The only issue with that is God was powerful enough, wise enough and loving enough to correct that mistake.  This is something we have yet to have full faith in saying about man. A thought occurred to me this morning regarding just how mixed up many of us appear to be when it comes to the Bible.  I say mixed up because I am still trying to reconcile what I learned growing up with what I have learned so far in this life, much of it still confusing while some of it is becoming clearer. I harken back to the first time I heard the word of “God’s divine plan” which was made to say to me, that all that happens is according to his will.  A few days ago, I found it quite comforting to use those words of “it’s God’s will” but did not think that they were used to simply cover up my responsibilities. In the beginning, judges were set up to administer justice by counseling and being peacemakers between those who had a dispute.  They were supposed to be above bribes and godly which is where wearing of the dress/robe may have come in.  They were supposed to listen carefully to all sides then find common ground, make the ultimate decision where both parties walked out of there with a slight win and all would be fair and balanced.  That was how it was supposed to work so what happened to that concept now. In the wake of the San Bernardino shooting, so many have come to rest on the untrue facts that the way to stop terrorist attacks here in the United States is to stop all Muslims from entering or living here.  If this sounds a little too familiar then it should because it was the same reason many you spoke to assumed when it came to the Jews, the Buddhist and any other form of religion that was not Christianity.  Wonder when we will learn that if you seek to go to a different place than you have been, it may be smarter to take a different route? Many are willing to say that the Quran teaches Muslims to hate others but in saying so are we not now teaching other Christians how to hate Muslims?  What if it is discovered that the Quran is nothing more than another version of the Bible?  What if we discover that those spoke so highly about in the Quran are none other than those spoken so highly about from the Bible?  Would that make us less or more likely to hate...

Many people take pride in a label or tag for different reasons but one of the constant reasoning is the belief that if you own a label or tag, you then remove the control it has over you and recover that control over it.  Now while I can see some truth in this, there are still words that I personally would never seek to take ownership of the number one word for me is Niger.  It started out as learning about the origin behind this label and the results of usage of this term.  The pain, suffering and deaths that are associated with this word made me decide early in the game never to accept it as part of my character, my definition or my reason.  I saw the nooses and even felt the pulling of one around my own neck once so trying to tell me that it was okay for anyone of any color to use the word as if only a selected few had the right to use it only made me see them as nothing more than ignorant of this origin and these results.  The more I thought about it, t...

For as long as I can remember people have been trying to convince us that there is a real difference in religion.  The Catholics wishes us to believe that they have the inside track to gaining access into heaven as well as the Baptist, Lutherans, Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Evangelist and so on.  Each one presents a policy or guidelines that we may embrace and then a decision is made.  The same can now be said by those who follow the Islamic Religion or Muslim.  They all carry the same consistent theme but instead of celebrating this fact, each of them wants us to believe that the others are bad and only they can offer us that clear path.  They are all wrong and in this article I will attempt to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is only one God and there is only one true religion guaranteed to grant any of us access through that golden gate. You may recall the story of Jesus where the Pharisees were lying to the people and the kings saying that he was violating the Laws of Moses which at that time was and still remains today as the law of the land.  This was the excuse that they used to not only beat, torture, and kill all of God’s prophets and messengers sent before Jesus but the exact same premises that they used to murder Christ as well.  What they did not care to try and understand was that Moses was just a man sent by God to deliver those laws, teach them in his name and set the example by which they should live.  This was the first convent and only after the other prophets and messengers were slain by their hands, did God see reason to send to us his only son to deliver unto us a second convent.  These so-called religious experts and their followers were blinded by Satan and could not see Jesus for who he really was and they refused to listen when Jesus explained to them that he was not here to vi...
