There are only two things wrong with the Hillary Campaign her message and Bill

As a beginner when it comes to political campaigns and not as experienced as those she has around her, I have listened to some of her speeches and saw how quickly her husband has stepped on his tongue, all this reminds me of the message she was sending during her contest with Senator Barrack Obama and all that was left was “oh no not again”.  I then came to the realization that there are only two things she needs to change is her message and her husband. Let’s deal with Bill first, many call him the greatest weapon in the Democratic arsenal and at one point maybe he was.  Maybe the Bill we wish to remember is the one who had his entire plan mapped out in front of him, knew where he wanted to go and most importantly how to get there.  Yes he made several missteps along the way but to a person those who voted for him was very glad they did.  I don’t think we are looking at the same Bill today.  The drive he had then was so that he could lead the free world ...

South Carolina Republican Gov. just set a new standard for the GOP and all of

Since 2009, it has been a comedy of errors on the behalf of the GOP when it came to choosing who would give the Republican response to the White House State of the Union Address that was until a group of, probably men, made the right choice and chose South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.  Now please don’t get it twisted, there are a lot of things I could easily disagree with the GOP on but when you speak frankly about the current situation our nation faces and take full blame for the part you played in making things as they are, you will find me standing right up front to support that effort.  Gov Nikki Haley knocked it out of the park with her response to the State of the Union Address, maybe not in all she said but what she did say was more truth than anyone has ever heard coming from the GOP in years. According to an article titled “ Haley warns against following ‘angriest voices’ in GOP response ” written by Andrew Rafferty but originally appearing on NBCNews.com, it i...

If 2 citizens were fired for displaying the Confederate Flag, our nation is in trouble.

If this is true and these two citizens were let go because they refused to remove the Confederate Flag symbol from their own personal property, this nation has allowed it’s citizens to violate the very principal that so many pride themselves on when bragging about this country.  God Almighty, knew that attempting to control the minds of men was a lost cause which is why he gave us the authority to decide for ourselves.  He told us that we are in control of our actions, non-actions and lives so that on judgment day, we will not have anyone else to blame for the way we decided to live that life.  I can understand removal of the Confederate Flag from public buildings but when you begin to think that you own another person to the point where you can control and make them remove any symbol from their own private property, you have gone too far. The article titled, “ 2 In Alabama Say They Got Fired For Driving With Confederate Flag ” written by Jackie Salo for Internationa...

Rhetoric of KKK now proven false

With the help of one action, the years of rhetoric about the need for the existence of a world-rounded hate group may have just been erased.  This article titled “See the Moving Photo of a Black Cop Helping a Man at KKK Rally” by Ryan Teague Beck for the Associated Press reports that “Police officer Leroy Smith helps a man wearing National Socialist Movement attire up the stairs during a rally on July 18, 2015, in Columbia, S.C.  The most memorable image of a Ku Klux Klan rally in South Carolina Saturday undercut the group’s mission.  When the North Carolina-based Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan rallied at the steps of the South Carolina statehouse to protest the removal of the Confederate flag, one older protester was affected by the heat.  A photographer captured what happened next: Police Officer Leroy Smith, who is black, helped the protester, who was wearing a National Socialist movement T-shirt, up the stairs and out of the heat.” We all are aware...

The Confederate Flag debate will soon be the same regarding the American Flag

This may not be what you true patriots wish to hear but it does not mean someone does not need to bring it to your attention.  We see those who so support the flying of the Confederate Flag crying real tears about what they think is an ending to their heritage.  It is not but some would want nothing more than for those who truly believe in that banner to fall for this ploy and be willing to pick up arms and die again for its colors.  Too bad, things that really end only end in our hearts.  If you are truly a lover of the Confederate Flag then you should know that no matter where it flies, on Capitol Grounds, in a museum, in your front yard or attached to your vehicle, the love for that glorious banner will only die if you strike its true meaning from your heart otherwise, it shall live on as long as there are those willing to see it live forever. For those who stand against it and call it a symbol of slavery, racism and bigotry, you are also correct but let us s...

My Reason for the Confederate Flags Coming Down, Not what you may think

What began as a banner for those who were convinced of the greatness of the south’s way of life to rally, fight and die under has now been reduced to a rally for those who would love to see a nation once divided separated again.  So for the reason for which it was created, those who share its heritage and hold close the primary purpose for its creation should be allowed to fly it and fly it proudly. It should not and never should again fly over Federal, State or local government buildings simply because there are some rightful citizens within this nation, this state and this community who do not care to embrace the results of this flag’s current reduced notation and since this country is bigger than the personal desires of one group, majority should rule as the primary principal of all states of this nation for which it stands. It should not and never again fly over Federal, State or local governmental offices and buildings because of the failure or the ancestors of those ...

Dylan Roof, his Manifesto and treatment should re-define Today’s Top Story

The media is all a buzzed by the Charleston shooter and his ramblings about why he committed murder of those unarmed victims in the church.  My first thought was where are the NRA members who claim that the best way to stop a bad man with a good is for good men to carry one?  They are examining his writings and using his words to define the stance he took but think back to the photos of how he was treated in his capture.  I do not recall military style weapons and equipment used to take him down and I do not recall anyone placing a bullet proof vest over the torso of anyone else that they captured. When you stop to dissect the differences between how one class of criminal is handled when compared to another class of criminal, you may began to see a disturbing pattern, or maybe it is just me.  We classify something like this, the Newtown Shooting, the Colorado mass killings and others as breaking news and today’s top story when it really is not.  We glorify ...

Cop Shootings is not all about Race

Recently I found myself getting more and more annoyed with African-Americans whose only take on the recent rash of police shootings is that race is what was behind it.  I don’t disagree with that but those with the opportunity to get in front of a camera must also realize that it is not the only reason.   In an effort to try and fix the entire problem instead of the issue that only blacks feel, we need to look at one more blatantly obvious sign that many are blinded to. It’s not as much about race as it is about the perception of wealth. Take for example the thought pattern that runs through the head of any officer who is about to pull over an influential person.  The first thought is not about whether they are guilty of the reason why the officer is pulling him over but that what the results may be after he does so.  You can bet that he/she knows that if they were to even think about pulling them over, they had better have all their ducks in a row.  T...

Lack of Leadership and Education ruins a Decorated Officer’s Career, Puts another man in the Hospital

I know that I keep asking the same question but I still do not have an answer to it and how many more people must suffer because those who are in a position of authority don’t have the intestinal fortitude to recognize when it is time to remove people from a stressful position before something worse happens.  I saw this because it has happened again and will continue until someone wakes up and smells the coffee.  From Jason Hanna, Martin Savidge and John Murgatroyd for CNN comes “Video shows trooper shooting unarmed man, South Carolina police say” The scene is described as “ One moment, a man reaches into his vehicle after a South Carolina trooper asked for his driver's license.  Seconds later, the trooper shoots him, and the man asks why. Days afterward, prosecutors aren't satisfied with the answer.  Authorities released dash-camera video Wednesday showing what they say is Sean Groubert, a decorated South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper, shooting Levar Jones, w...

The Love of Money causes teen minor burns, mother jail time and the break-up of a family

I know that I say all the time that we should not judge a story until we have heard the full version but this one I think is a “no- brainier ”.  Title is “Mom allowed teen to set himself on fire for Facebook” and it is brought to us by WCNC-TV in Charlotte, N.C.   It’s a no- brainier  because the story clearly told us what this was all about.  The story reports that “Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say a mother knowingly allowed her son to douse himself in fingernail polish and set himself on fire. It’s part of a Facebook challenge that encourages people to post a video of themselves on fire.  Youth Crimes Detectives and Social Services investigated the incident. They say the teen's mother, 41-year-old Janie Lachelle Talley, were aware of the event and facilitated the recording. Others put out the fire. The teen suffered minor burns to his chest and neck.  Talley was arrested without incident. She is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a ...

Exposed, the Story behind the Hatred of Obama

For quite some time now (around 3 and ½ years) I have been asking the same question.   Where does this intense hatred for Obama come from?   Yesterday, all the pieces fell into place and revealed a strange and disturbing picture. It became quite apparent to me that the major reason many stand against this President is simply because they figure he is weak and would not be able to exercise the power of the office.   They step to him not as an equal but as an inferior product.   To a person, it was believed that he was not smarter than they were and each time he demonstrate his mental capabilities they are shown to be one step behind.   This seems to be the primary reason for this intense hatred and can be evidenced by how many discount anything he says or does.   It makes them run to the nearest microphone to dismiss any achievement.   Take for example this article written by Rick Klein of ABC OTUS News titled Obama’s Immigration Surprise Puts GOP ...

GOP Golden Boy Marco Rubio misses a Golden Opportunity

Arlette Saenz of ABC News reported in his article titled Rubio Comes Out Swinging at Obama at S.C. GOP Dinner reported that “Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., doled out attacks on President Obama tonight in a high-profile speech before South Carolina Republicans, laying out aggressive criticisms of the president as he called him the most "divisive figure" in American politics.   "The president and his party's view of America's government and our lives is a failed one. It hasn't worked. His ideas that sounded so good in the classrooms of Harvard and Yale haven't really worked out well in the real world."    But this is not the missed opportunity. It is expected that Rubio speaking to his group and people would garner “applause at the South Carolina GOP's Silver Elephant Dinner.”   It would be news if he had not have spoken about President Obama in terms like   "they get frustrated. They can't win on their record, and so they've chosen to...

Huntsman dropping out of presidential race does GOP more harm than good

To some this may be a sign that the Republican Establishment has won and now the party will get behind one nominee but to me it creates a much larger question. According to NBC’s Jo Ling Kent and Domenico Montanaro, “Jon Huntsman will drop his presidential bid and endorse Mitt Romney, according to campaign sources.”   This is taken from their article titled Huntsman to drop out of presidential race, endorse Romney and MSNBC’s First Read.   The questions began with the swift turn around it took from when Huntsman declared that it was on to South Carolina and getting the endorsement of The State.   The question continues over how at one time Huntsman can say that Romney is unelectable but now somehow Romney is qualified and gets Huntsman’s endorsement.   The questions crests with whether now Huntsman was the man many of us thought he was when we saw him as someone with integrity and a strong spine.   Regardless of how it may have appeared to some, Huntsman w...

South Carolina seeking its own currency is this nation headed for another Civil War?

It appears that the new crop of politicians is coming up with extraordinary laws and ways to make the whole world wonder if the United States has really lost its mind.   Talk about not being seen as a leader in the eyes of other countries anymore, on these current track politicians will have us back in the stone ages real soon now. According to an article by Liz Goodwin titled South Carolina lawmaker wants separate currency for state .   “A South Carolina state politician wants the state to develop its own gold and silver-based currency in case the Federal Reserve collapses and hyper-inflation ensues.”   "If folks lose faith in the dollar, we need to have some kind of backup," State Sen. Lee Bright told the Spartanburg Herald Journal's Stephen Largen .”     “Slate's Annie Lowrey tracks down similar bills in Georgia and Virginia , and points out that the legislation reflects a larger trend of state politicians wading into monetary policy. A bill in Georgia ...
