During a three-year span, Brigadier General Jeffery Sinclair and his partner, a female Army Captain, carried on an affair with total disregards for the feelings and position he was putting his wife in and the damage they both were doing to the reputation of the United States Army as well as the over-all Armed Forces.  What this clandestine relationship did manage to bring to the surface was the same sad predicament all those who choose to cheat run into.  All the cloak and dagger, hiding in the shadows actions and being so very careful so that no one finds out, might have been fun in the beginning but like all things bad, nothing good emerges.  The trust that was once essential to the longevity of Sinclair’s relationship with his wife has now been torn asunder all because he could not be trusted to keep his eyes on his own paper, his hands to himself and his member in his pants.  Now all those years dedicated to him by his scorned wife seems wasted to her but th...

Patriotism is defined as the love that people feel for their country and while I truly cannot argue with that I do take offense at the extension added to this definition by some who claim the title but refuse to acknowledge that they do not have a clue to what they are talking about. I speak of those who say that they love this country yet will do all that they can to sell it out by forging ahead with bold, discriminatory and selfish ideas delivered to them on platter of money.  Look around and you will see exactly what I am talking about.  Politicians who claim that they love this country but will disallow anyone else different from them the chance to live their lives as they see fit.  I love this country but I am going to keep you from voting because you don’t vote like I want you to.  I love this country but I am going to deny you the same rights and freedoms that I wish to enjoy. Often times we hear the talking points of those opposed to anything and everything this administration has attempted to do as something naive or careless.   The recent battle over the budget and deficits seem to have been forgotten as the new Pentagon strategy was released.   Some of those very same people crying about the deficits and demanding cuts are now crying foul because their wish has been granted. David Alexander and Phil Stewart of Reuters article titled New Pentagon strategy stresses Asia, cyber, drones details some of those same voices finding fault with this new strategy without defining what it is they do not like, why they do not like it, what they would do differently and the proof of their rethoric.   The American public deserves a better defense of their position and should demand that they provide more than just lip-service when they publically demean the actions of our Commander-in-Chief in front of the world.   Words have consequences and when ...

According to the article written by Susanne M. Schafer of the Associated Press titled Army, Navy add citizenship option to boot camp “ Now the Army and Navy, in need of specialists and language skills in wartime, are speeding things up by allowing recruits to wrap up the process while they're still in basic training by allowing federal immigration officers access to the recruits.”   I think is a great thing and a long time in coming.   What I love best about this decision is that “military officials say it's a well-deserved break for volunteers who otherwise would have to slog through the bureaucratic ordeal during deployments around the world, often far from U.S. embassies and the military route is not a short-cut for foreigners abroad to get into the U.S. Only legal immigrants can apply, officials stress, and they must complete five years of honorable service or chance having their citizenship revoked.” If they can be brought into the service of this country and are willin...
