  No other adage can be counted upon to be proven true than the adage which says that history repeats itself.   This is abundantly evident with the newest moves from the Georgia State GOP.   According to the Associated Press dot com, in an article titled “ Georgia House passes GOP bill rolling back voting access ”, it is reported that “Republican lawmakers in Georgia muscled legislation through the state House on Monday that would roll back voting access, over the objection of Democrats and civil rights groups gathered at the Capitol to protest.   The bill comes after record turnout led to Democratic wins in Georgia’s presidential election and two U.S. Senate runoffs. House Bill 531 passed the lower legislative chamber by a vote of 97-72. It now goes to the state Senate for more debate. Consider the possibilities that the world’s number one retail store would suddenly have to close stores and those who can see nothing more than a conspiracy saying it is because of the livable wage debate currently raging all over the place?  Could they be right?  According to an article titled “ Wal-Mart suddenly closed 5 stores and laid off thousands of workers and no one knows why ” written for Reuters by Hayley Peterson that may be the ultimate question. The article states that “Wal-Mart suddenly closed five stores in four states on Monday for alleged plumbing problems.  The closures could last up to six months and affect roughly 2,200 workers in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida, CNN Money reports.  Wal-Mart employees say they were completely blindsided by the news, having been notified only a couple hours before the stores closed at 7 p.m. Monday.  All workers will receive paid leave for two months. In our rush to wring out of life all that we can, we may just be choking the life out of the human race.  Take for example the rush to produce a more genuine and healthy crop and livestock by moving them from their ability to range free to an area populated by several others with little if no room to move around.  We claim that this type of lavatory farming produces a better cut of meat but does it really?
