For some time now, people like John McCain and Lindsey Graham has been trying desperately to push this country into another long, drawn-out war in the Middle East.  A war, I must say, in which they will not have an active role in and have to dodge one bullet but will see the less that 1 percent having to re-engage if for no other reason than strictly political and try to make up for the lies that many helped spread to get us into Iraq in the first place. Experts of all kinds have their own ways of trying to solve the world problems and the harder they try the further behind the problem we seem to end of up.   Many say because the roads to settling conflicts are bulky and complicated.   Well I disagree; my thought is conflicts of all kind can easily be settled by following the word of God.   A small piece of my argument is below. For the supporters of Moammar Gadhafi and his regime this article by Joe Pompeo titled Alleged Libyan rape victim Iman al-Obeidi breaks through to the international press does them little justice and proves that this regime and their supporters needs to be dealt with.   In the report he writes about an alleged rape victim, Iman al-Obeidi who claims that she was raped and beaten by guards loyal to Gadhafi.   She was quoted as saying "I showed to the journalists my hands and legs. We heard about a peaceful revolution when it came to Civil Rights in this country.   Those who participated in this revolution are seen as American heroes and pioneers of a new day.   They are now our guiding forces which continue to lead us in the generations to come.   This is now the story of Egypt.   A group of everyday people who probably would have never met came together for a common cause. These people as those before them took to the streets unarmed and voiced as one their desire for a free country.   They did not crowd the streets for selfish gains but for the betterment of their country.   They knew that their country could do better and could be better but it would take a sacrifice far beyond any other and like the one that they read about in the American history books.   Though some paid the ultimate price, they would not let their deaths go in vain.   They stood strong and they stood tall only to re-gain a country that they knew exi...

Glen Beck made a very big mistake when he said that this protest was not about the people, it was and it is.   It says more about the drive to freedom that so many of us take for granted.   There are even a few Americans who wonder if sacrificing their lives in the streets of Egypt is smart and this coming from Americans in itself is quite rich. We know that this is all about the people when a couple of people with very cushy and safe jobs step away to side with the protestors fighting and dying for a little bit of freedom.   Two people from the State-run Television Station in Egypt walked out when they saw that they were controlled beyond his point of showing what was really going on in Egypt.   That took heart and courage on a grander scale and is exactly what happened when those who sailed the seas in search of a new world took flight.
