In the beginning the voice of the Tea Party spoke for many of us who were feeling disenfranchised and ignored.   It rang the bell for so many to finally get up off the sideline and into the game.   It was a true grassroots organization and many flocked to join but it eventually began to splinter into other groups that soon spelled the downfall of a once great organization.   The splinter groups began to see this as an opportunity to make big profits instead of making big changes.   They saw this as a way to impress and impose than an avenue to a more perfect nation.   They saw it as a way to advance their agenda instead of an agenda for this country as a whole and because of that many who finally realize just what they may be wishing to do no longer fit what they had thought was the original purpose. Glen Beck made a very big mistake when he said that this protest was not about the people, it was and it is.   It says more about the drive to freedom that so many of us take for granted.   There are even a few Americans who wonder if sacrificing their lives in the streets of Egypt is smart and this coming from Americans in itself is quite rich. We know that this is all about the people when a couple of people with very cushy and safe jobs step away to side with the protestors fighting and dying for a little bit of freedom.   Two people from the State-run Television Station in Egypt walked out when they saw that they were controlled beyond his point of showing what was really going on in Egypt.   That took heart and courage on a grander scale and is exactly what happened when those who sailed the seas in search of a new world took flight.
