TV Show Rules of Engagement Review

Not being a particular fan of the show, I was present to watch Season 5, Episode 4, series called Handy Man.   While I believe that Patrick Warburn/Jeff and Mehyn Price/Andrey are well worth watching the show, I could not help but to feel sick after seeing the relationship between David Spade/Russell and Adhir Kalyan/Timmy. I guess the writers on this show still feel that indentured servitude is still funny because viewing how little Russell seemed to value Timmy made me ill.   I guess having to say sir to someone who thinks so little of you that you must scrap all the little seeds from his sandwich bothers me greatly.   People are free to choose the style of life that they wish to lead and in this story, if Timmy wishes to follow Russell around like some lost little puppy then so be it but for me, this show will never grace my TV watching schedule again.   I think the real reason I have such a problem with this dynamic is that Timmy cannot find the spine to jus...

Necessary Roughness on USA Network is a show worth watching

I was surprised to find that the new series on the USA Network called “Necessary Roughness” would be as good as advertised, it was so much better.   The star of the show is Callie Thomas (Dr. Danielle (Dani) Santino) and she plays her character like it was more a part of her.   When she discovered her husband, Craig Bierko (Ray Santino) was cheating on her, she made a very tough decision to seek a divorce.   It was later discovered that even though her husband said he wanted to come back home, he was making moves which contradicted it.   Moves like freezing the credit cards, claiming to have lost all of his profits in his garment business and fighting for the kids so as not to have to pay child support.   Dani bundled up that ball of energy and strapped in to fight back. She knew that the road would be rough trying to raise two teenagers, Patrick Johnson as Ray "Ray Jay" Santino Jr. and Hannah Marks as Lindsay Santino.   They too, had to digest the su...

Proof that Rosie O’Donnell was right about Donald Trump being a hypocrite

When Mark Dagostino and Brian Orloff covered the spat between Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump for People Magazine titled Rosie Slams Trump, the Donald Fires Back .   I do not think that they would have ever expected for the words captured in this story to be the proof that she was right about him.   So many quickly dismissed Rosie and some even pushed to see her fired.   The defenders of Donald Trump were proud to stand with him and had a lot to say about Ms. O’Donnell being so off base to attack such a decent man.   We do not know if he is financially bankrupt, we do not know if he is a joke but we have proof that he is a hypocrite. The article reports that “ Rosie O'Donnell had some fiery words for Donald Trump on  The View  Wednesday morning, calling him a "snake-oil salesman" following  his announcement  that he would not fire troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.     After hearing about her comments, Trump fired back to PEOPLE, calling ...

“Break out Kings” —Pilot

Catch “Breakout Kings” at its regular time Sunday s 10:00 PM (EST) on A&E Fox’s loss is A&E’s gain.   It has been reported that this show first pitched this idea to the Fox Channel who refused it only to have A&E pick it up.   The decision maker from Fox may now have to live with the fact they threw away a runaway hit.   Here is just a little of what is in store for anyone watching this show. The first thing to be aware of is Charlie DuChamp (Laz Alonso) has waited for years to finally get away from behind the desk of the US Marshall Service where a weak heart landed him and this is the same ailment that killed his father some time ago.   His drive to make this work is rooted in finally getting a chance to prove him self and being the only official US Marshall Representative makes him more than responsible for the results shown by this experiment.   This drives him to be somewhat “heavy handed” but as time and relationships build, he seems to be co...
