Mitt Romney’s stance on the Auto Industry Bailout may just have lost him MI, OH and PA in general election

For those who were so vocal when it came to bailing out the Auto Industry but were not so when it came to bailing out Wall Street, the results of your decision is in and you lose.   If you go back into the archives of tape, you will find many prominent leaders decrying the Auto Industry bailout and lately you have heard Mitt Romney singing the same tune.   Those union workers and all those who support them were very happy to see that the few did not influence the many and they got their bailout.   The largest difference between the banks and the auto industry is that while the banks are still looking to lay off more workers, cut more expenses and grow their profit margins, the auto industry is doing the exact opposite.   GM and its workers dedicated materials and manpower to re-equip those firefighters who lost their vehicles during the attack of 911.   The union took a severe pay-cuts and a slash in benefits so that this and their company would survive. ...

What the Tea Party may have really meant by “Take Back Our Country”

Believe it or not, I was walking from the kitchen to my small office space when it suddenly occurred to me what that lady meant when she was seen crying on camera yelling “I want my country back”.  It was during the “grassroots” protest of healthcare at town halls all over and it soon became the rally cry for all those signs and some major politicians. It wa...

The Auto Industry leads the way but will other bailed out companies follow?

It never ceases to amaze me just how blind some pretend to be and even though the proof is overwhelming still resides to deny that the sky is blue.   Many campaigned on the push of the Obama Administration to bail out the auto industry.   Some even promised doom and despair as the result of this action.   Now that the auto industry is making a serious comeback and according to Tom Krisher of the Associated Press GM, Ford and Chrysler are preparing to pay their workers a big bonus, these same people are complaining that "Since the taxpayers helped these companies out of bankruptcy, the taxpayers should be repaid before bonuses go out," Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, said in a statement. "It sends a message that those in charge take shareholders, in this case the taxpayers, for a sucker." Is it just me or are there some to whom what is actually going on at Main Street does not seem to appear on the radar of those in Washington.   How can giving workers a bonus be any...
