For some time now, people like John McCain and Lindsey Graham has been trying desperately to push this country into another long, drawn-out war in the Middle East.  A war, I must say, in which they will not have an active role in and have to dodge one bullet but will see the less that 1 percent having to re-engage if for no other reason than strictly political and try to make up for the lies that many helped spread to get us into Iraq in the first place. The true definition of leadership, selfishness, bravery and courage has been demonstrated by many people but is mostly seen in war movies were the one lone hero is shown jumping on a grenade to save his fellow service members.  I guess that is one act we will not see coming from this congress. I’m continually amazed at the arrogance of media members who seem to run straight to people like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Billy Crystal, and John Bolton and of course Dick Cheney when it comes to questions about foreign policy.  I’m amazed because I used to think that smart people do not continue to do the same dumb things over and over again but it appears that I am wrong or those I thought were smart is not so smart. When it comes to the unrest in Iraq, many of those now experts who get paid to spew their crap on the airwaves and in front of TV cameras say that the main reason it is happening is because America “walked away” after creating this through occupation.  How many bricks must fall upon our heads before we figure out to move because the building is collapsing?  Now Joe Lieberman is penning an Op Ed in the paper to say that the same will happen in Afghanistan.  They offer criticism but no solutions except keeping military there knowing...

Not much offends me these days because so much is happening that one cannot afford to get caught up in all this unnecessary drama but when I read certain articles and view comments, I do acquire a few questions here and there. Much of the time I just either ask them quietly to myself, send a silent message to God to help me understand or just shake my heads and thank God that I do not and did not spread this type of hate to my children.  This time is different because now I feel that these questions needs answers from those who hide behind the anonymity of the internet or are comforted by money and allow these harmful acts to continue.  I say harmful but not to this nation as much as it is towards family, friends and loved ones who refuse to see the goodness in all for the sake of just belonging. I ask this question because of the recent news accounts of the current unrest going on in Egypt. Many are blaming the Obama Administration and while they may be right, I believe that there may be another explanation which no one is reporting.   Take for example my time line.   John McCain and Lindsey Graham were both in Egypt prior to the recent charge made by Egyptian Police and this curfew put in place by the Egyptian military.   History tells us that these two men, among others, have always been more about saber rattling than diplomacy.   Both have made it an art form to shoot first and ask questions later.   Could this unrest be the result of them sent to ease transition but placing an American burr under the saddle instead?   It is reported that the Vice President of Egypt has resigned over the actions not being diplomatic but forceful instead.   He believed, as those in the President Cabinet believed, that a peaceful solution coul...

I was strongly compelled to share this letter from a dying veteran to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney because it says everything that I have been saying for so long.   The beauty of this letter written by one of my fellow military members, dying from injuries received while fighting an illegitimate war. We learned today that Susan Rice has decided to withdraw her name from contention because she said it would bog down the confirmation process.   She spoke like a lady who see this as something bigger than her which is commendable but still gives “wayward” lawmakers an excuse to keep playing games instead of doing the job they were hired to do. Tell military members that their welfare is far less important than making up “talking points” to get on television or try to make a president look bad.   To say you love this country but fail to pass the jobs bill or hold up advancement of this nation for the billionaires makes no sense.   What has happened to a party who once champion military service?    What has happened to a party that once champions the worth of individuals over interest? Three major “loudmouths” and “weak minded” political pundits saw an opportunity to better their standing in the senate and cared less about the results of their actions. ...

For quite some time now (around 3 and ½ years) I have been asking the same question.   Where does this intense hatred for Obama come from?   Yesterday, all the pieces fell into place and revealed a strange and disturbing picture.
