The Assumption of Additional Pain and Suffering-A Theoretical Thought

We have been taught for many years that hell is “a place of evil and suffering where the wicked are punished after death” but what if that was only partially true.  What if the real hell was here on earth and all of the planets and the wicked are those of us who chooses not to follow the path of Jesus at every junction of our earthly lives when we must make a choice between doing what is right and doing what is wrong.  When we choose to do what we believe is right in the eyes of God we live believing in Jesus but when we choose to do what is wrong we become the wicked. Wouldn’t it make sense since so much pain and suffering is endured here on earth and as soon as we make the decision to do what is wrong we are immediately consumed by the fires of hatred, anger, hypocrisy, jealousy, greed, regret and so many other sins. Let’s take for example, the taking of another human life.  The mind has always had a problem with reconciling unnatural acts and there is none greater...

The Daily Fight to Crush Evil and Reclaim our Souls

The world is going to hell in a hand basket  simply because of God’s children have grown far too big for their britches.  The arrogance of man has spread from father to son, mother to daughter for centuries, decades and eons.  It is passed down from generation to generation and diluted with a belief that to honor one you have to dishonor another.  The offspring’s fail to learn from the lessons of the parent. God is our one and only father, we were made in his image and thus are only a spirit.  The body our spirit occupies was made from dirt and clay so as the body decay, the spirit remains.  During our existence within this fragile shell, we can grow in spirit and become the child God knows us to be or we can choose to limit our expansion by following the selfish impulses of mortals. God’s one and only mistake was to attempt to govern the behavior of man with 10 rules.  He soon learned that his was not doable and rather than continue to risk t...

Before anyone can claim Unity and Peace there is one thing they must first do

In a nation claiming to be so Christian, we surely ignore the most glaring thing of all.  If you are truly a child of God then you were made in his image.  His image is a spirit; a spirit has no skin color so why does this one fact escape us all?  It does so because that’s the way evil wants it and as long as we are willing to be led by the nose by evil, then that is the only way we will see it.  The differences in skin tone are due to pigmentation, pigmentation necessary to protect your body from external factors period.  What defines you is not the outside or anything else evil wishes you to believe.  What defines you is how you conduct yourself day by day as a child of God but before you make any attempt to feed the hungry and house the homeless, you need to perform one very important act first. The first thing you must do to become a much better you and pleasing to the God you claim to serve is remove that beam from your eye first.  In other w...

How do we know that God will only allow that which he knows you can handle?

It is a statement often made but seldom ever explained which is quite unfair since it is so easy to explain.  May be we do not explain it because we do not know what to say or how to say it?  May be we do not explain because we don’t know ourselves or maybe we don’t explain it because we never really thought about it only repeated it because it sounded good to say? Maybe it is time we explained why we know that God will only allow that pain and suffering that he already knows you can handle.  We know this frankly because it is the same that he did for his only son Jesus.  Remember back in that book we call a Bible where satan wished to tempt Jesus?  Remember he had to get permission from God before he could.  God granted satan three chances to get Jesus to condemn him and three chances was all he got.  We know that he failed all three times and had to stop there because his power was nowhere near the power of God.  If he loved his son as much...

Here is another Reason not to Fear Death

As a newborn grows and develops, many often can be heard saying that they think that newborn has been here before.  Not really having any other reason to say that except watching them catch on to things so quickly and saying things that we would normally not equate to a person of such young age.  Many often wonder why and to date, no one has been able to give us a suitable explanation that is up till now.  Now don’t get me wrong, I am not an experts or anything, just a person who probably thinks too much and questions too often but I believe I have a clue and would like to share it with you.  Remember, it is not important that you agree with me or not, what is important is to take a few seconds and think about it to see if it makes any sense to you.  If it does then great but if it doesn’t that is also awesome as well.  The purpose is not to convince but to spark a consideration regardless of conversation. It is written in the Bible that Jesus said to ...

News Anchor Announcements set the Stage

I was blown away about a story written by Mike Miller for ijreveiw.com titled “News Anchor Makes Startling On-Air Announcement: He Only Has 4-6 Months To Live,” not because of any of the most thought of reasons like he was brave enough to share it with the audience or he may be seeking sympathy or increasing viewership.  I was blown away because it was only today that I was speaking to my own audience about the miracles average people perform every day. In the article Mr. Miller reports that “Champaign, IL, news anchor Dave Benton, 51, told viewers during a broadcast on Thursday that he has an inoperable brain tumor – and that doctors tell him he only has 4-6 months to live. The born-again Christian said he believes he is in God’s hands: “I am at peace and I know he’s going to take care of the days ahead and that the goal here is to have the best ones possible.” I was blown away because of what the article said toward the end “Stories like this one serve to remind...

Could an Earthly Death be the key to gaining entry into Heaven

How many times have you heard that a person, who died, here on earth, told someone who were there at the time, that they were tired and ready to go?  Maybe they told someone earlier that they would not be here much longer before they took that last breath.  Ever wondered how they knew?  I remember Dr. Martin Luther King saying that he had been on the mountain top and had seen the Promised Land, and then he said, I might not get there with you but I promise we will get to the Promised Land.  The Bible says that hell is a place full of pain and suffering which describes living on this earth to a tee.  It would explain why the Bible asks us to rejoice upon the earthly death of a loved one instead of morn.  It may explain why the Bible told us, so long ago, that the wages of sin was death and tells us to not fear death and that if we must fear death, fear not the death of the body but of the soul.  Leaving here, this earth is only death of the body....

Why do we fear something some of us look forward to everyday?

Lately I have been on a roll where I have taken the liberty to answer the tough questions like why people hate God, why God allows bad things to happen to good people and now I want to talk to you about something that will probably scare the stuffing out of some.  I want to talk to you about death. One of the major reasons, people are more able to be manipulated and controlled whether it is by criminals or bullies is the threat of death.  Think about that and you may be able to see, instances where you were influenced to change or modify your positions because you feared dying.  You could no longer see yourself as being a part of this world and felt unready to go because there was still more you wished to do with your life or things you wished to say.  At the apex of any terrifying event always comes a moment where many will see their entire lives flash before their eyes and in that moment we began to pray for a little more time.  Promising to do better tha...

Choice: America’s Ultimate Secret Weapon and its Biggest Sin

Some years ago I was asked about what I thought the meaning of life was and along that vain, I penned an article and a book calling it “The True Meaning of Life”.  The idea behind my definition of the true meaning of life was based on perception.  How you see things will determine where you stand.  If you see greed as good then you will defend it.  If you perceive that there is good in everybody then you will look for it. If you perceive that there is a heaven and a hell then you will stand firm on those grounds.  In the search for the true meaning of life, we tend to try and ascertain it for the sole purpose of understanding why people do some of the things that they do. We want to try and understand why people commit crimes and we have come to accept that there are sometimes outside forces that cause them to do so.  We have come to accept environmental, societal, physical and even mental excuses.  Once we find out which ones made them choose cri...

Why is Facing Death the only Time we truly Act as Christians

Throughout our lives, nothing seems more important than “finishing the race”, “providing for the family”, “making ends meet”, “getting mine”, “surviving”, “grabbing that brass ring” or any other useless and misguided saying that you can think of.  This, our only main focus sometimes is so important to many that they will resort to any means to get theirs or hold on to what they have.  Even if it means taking the life of another because no one will take what they got.  This is the driving force behind our reason for living and if question some most often find it very hard to explain why.  This belief takes hold though and soon society is flooded with this idea and sensation.  Books celebrating this type of thinking fill the shelves and the air waves are amassed with television shows preaching this same idea.  Eventually it is seen so often that it becomes the way of a people and of a nation.  You find this philosophy being taught in all our schools...

If God is an Arrogant Bully, Satan is a Spineless Coward

There are many things that are up for debate but there is one thing crystal clear.  There are but two masters in this universe and they are God and Satan.  Since you can only serve one of them, you must make up your mind and choose which one it is going to be.  Some people believe that they do not have to choose and that they are somehow so special that they can exist in this life free from the influence of either.  They are lying to someone and it is not me so it could be you or better yet they.  No one and I mean no one can escape the influence of either and often times both of them regardless of what you wish to tell yourself but it is our choice to which we listen.  So stop blaming others for the decisions that you make because you and only you have complete control of what you do. There are those who say that the reason they do not believe of wish to follow God is because he allows so many bad things to happen to people and he displays a deep degr...

Ridding this World of Evil

Lawmakers of all stripes continue to make the case for the numerous rules and regulations government and politics put abroad that the primary purpose is to combat evil.  In even smaller circles you might hear a few of them express the idiotic ideas that making these laws will even eliminate evil.  It’s idiotic because it is not true and nor will anyone be able to completely erase evil from this world or any world.  Evil is in this world and all worlds to stay and there is nothing we can do about it except control it and not let it control us.  We do have the power to control and defeat evil and this power was given to us by the new covenant and the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross. You do not have to believe me, just pick up your Bible and turn to 1st John chapter 5, verse 19 which tell us that “we know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one”.  The evil one that he speaks of is none other than Sata...

God does always make a Way

For some this may be hard to believe but God always makes a way.  I tell you this because even I have doubts sometimes and wonder if God does hear my prayers.  I have been unemployed since 2009 and as much experience and knowledge that I have obtained in my years of dwelling here on this earth has not been enough and in some cases too much to land a really good job.  So I sat, losing the only source of strength I have held onto for so long, my manhood.  Feeling it slip away little by little until I discovered why it was leaving. It was not leaving because of anything that anyone else was doing.  Yes, they could have given me an entry level position just to maintain my manhood but it still wasn’t their fault my manhood was leaving.  My manhood was leaving because I was putting my faith in them and allowing them to dictate my destiny.  When I figured this out, you should have seen my immediate reaction, knowing that they do not control my destiny, I...

The Hierarchy of Power

In the beginning before the earth and everything in it was formed, there was heaven as we know it to be.  A place where existed God, Our Father also referred to as the Holy Spirit; his son Jesus Christ his most trusted of children called Arch angels and a whole host of lesser but just as important other angels.  Within this Eden, there was a conflict brewing where one of those most trusted Lucifer better known as Satan was attempting to unseat his father and take over the throne.  One the other side of that was Michael, a strong believer and defender of his father.  Every negotiating tactic attempted by God to settle his child Satan met to no avail and the conflict was on.  This was the time God decided to create another group of children who he thought would devote and cherish only him forever.   Then there was Adam deposited into another Garden of Eden later joined by Eve.  After the war was over, God had a choice to make.  He could comple...

Dispelling the Myth of Who can be called as a Voice of God

There is a group of people who are strong believers in the rumors that only those selected can call themselves or ever be recognized as a voice for God.  They think that you need to possess a degree or diploma or be anointed by other men.  While in the past this was also my belief it is not so now and had I not stumbled upon this revelation, I would still be pushing this lie. Who can be called as a voice of God, anyone with a very strong desire to spread the “Good News” and the convictions to endure all of the pain and suffering that will comes from doing so.  Yes that means you and you do not need any piece of paper to do so.  Forget the labels and remember the sacrifice. If you believe so strongly in the Old Testament and often quote it to prove your point of how God feels about everything, you must also be willing to accept the entire Old Testament as the true path to perfection and not just a few verses here and there to make you appear like you really know ...

God’s New Message to the Masses

There is a very large part of the Christian movement which seems satisfied to remain in their current positions where they use both sides of the Bible to make their points and clarify their points of view about proper way to act and to serve God.   It is this that I wish to speak to all of you about and yes, it may appear controversial to some.   The purpose of this conversation is not to produce controversy but to expand our minds and attempt to make us the kind of opened and honest Christian God wishes us to be.   We were made in his image so I believe that our faith should be boundless as the celestial stars and not held bounded by to this earth.   We need to look beyond our natural horizons to see the vision that God has prepared for us.   Some may think that we have already reached the “promised land” but I believe that the promise land is still some distance off and to reach it, we must expand not our bounders but our heart, soul and minds. Let’s be...

My Journey from Sinner to Saint

My journey began the day that I was born but I did not know it.   From the moment I opened my eyes and took my first breath, a plan of my life was formed and I began walking it the first moment I took my first step. Many of us look to what we have accomplished as a measure of our life but I have come to know that it isn’t what we have accomplished that makes our lives fulfilled, it’s who we have comforted.   We go through life looking for that brass ring and waiting on that dock for our ship to come in, what we fail to realize is that all that time we were looking for that brass ring or waiting on our ship, God had place that silver spoon in our hands and had already given us that boat to get to that other side.   We use the spoon to feed ourselves and the boat to fish with but we refused to cross over for fear of missing that ship. God was with me from the day I touched my first dead body and he supported me through all of the good and bad times before and after...
