It’s becoming quite clear to me as to why many of us feel that God does not exist and it is not because of what we know is true but what we choose to accept as truth.  We know, within the very being of our soul that God does exist and he exists within each and every one of us.  We know that the true spirit of God is the image in which he created all of us and we know that what is on the outside of anyone is not anything close to the real spirit that dwells inside.  We know that we are much more alike than we care to admit and we know that righteousness is not a rite of passage or heritage but an innate sense that each of us have which compels many to do the right thing even when a force much larger is determine to convince us to do wrong. For as long as I can remember people have been trying to convince us that there is a real difference in religion.  The Catholics wishes us to believe that they have the inside track to gaining access into heaven as well as the Baptist, Lutherans, Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Evangelist and so on.  Each one presents a policy or guidelines that we may embrace and then a decision is made.  The same can now be said by those who follow the Islamic Religion or Muslim.  They all carry the same consistent theme but instead of celebrating this fact, each of them wants us to believe that the others are bad and only they can offer us that clear path.  They are all wrong and in this article I will attempt to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is only one God and there is only one true religion guaranteed to grant any of us access through that golden gate. When I first read the article titled “ Churches Sever Ties With Boy Scouts For Accepting Gay Youth” written by David Crary for the Associated Press, I was furious but the more I read, the more it became clear to me that these so-called churches are doing nothing but fulfilling the scriptures as written and taught by Jesus himself.   I say this to the Boys Scouts of America, hold your head up and hold it high, a man more worthy of reverence endured something quite similar to what you may be experiencing now, that man was Jesus Christ. Yes, that’s right I said it and I will say it again.   I say it because it burns me up to think that an organization so revered and copied as the ultimate organization to provide unequivocal service to the poor and needy in any community from food banks to financial services and not to mentioned spiritual guidance would allow their name to be buried in nothing that has anything to do with their primary and initial purpose for existing.   Do not be fooled, it has nothing to do with religious freedom and everything to do with religion in politics.   It has taken the last great institution and turned it from the goodness spoke of in the Bible to a business.
