So many today wonders why this world is going to hell in a hand basket and is often perplexed as to how we can restore it but as evil will have it the solutions that they come up with never works and so frustration sets in and all hope is soon lost.  Well maybe we can help you restore that hope and regain your sense of balance which allows you to now restore the balance to the nation. You say that you live in a free and just society but you lie.  This society is not free and it is definitely not just unless you count the numerous times when the rules favored you or an event happened to satisfy your need.  If you count those times then perhaps you may have a point but I ask you.  When the rules favored you or that event happened to satisfy your need, how then is society free and just if during those times those same rules or that same event was unjust or binding to another.  Unless you wish to redo your calculations of what free and just really mean but only to you and now say that this society is free and just whenever the rules favor you or an event happen to satisfy your need and to hell with everyone else.  Then perhaps you may have a point. Residents and leaders of Ferguson, Missouri as well as many well-respected journalist are off on a path pushing and beginning to start a recall for their city council.  The argument is that with 68% of residents being African-American and the city council not is representative of that means change is coming.  It is a very good idea but there is also something that they may need to consider. I call your attention to the City of Detroit who sends quite a few African-Americans to the city council and it changed nothing.  The situation became worse and now the city is bankrupted.  Putting African-American in office does not solve the problem if those elected are not strong enough to fall into the same selfish hole that those who currently occupy that position now finds themselves in.  If you elect a person who pretends to care when it is only their intention to better themselves, then you are electing to keep your city buried under the same blanket. If you listen to the many lawmakers in Washington and in local areas, one would be forced to believe that regulations are the sole reason why the economy collapsed and why it is recovering so slowly.   One would be dead wrong. One of the most recognizable factors which attributed to the recent economic failure was the gambling on Wall Street by those who were suppose to be of a higher standard morally than many.   This failure was more about speculation and the absence of regulation than anything else.   This trend seems to be occurring again with a little help from our news media.
