Why the Gun Control Debate sounds and feels so wrong

Don’t know how many others feel but I grow so very tired of hearing about how this gun control debate is damaging others ability to bear arms.  It’s the number one reason so many feel as though there are two sides to this debate and those on the other side are so focused on being right that they too do not realize that each is arguing the same thing but in different varieties.  It’s sad and so very unnecessary but leaves it to humans to take things far out of proportion and find an enemy in everything we may disagree on.  We are so busy looking for someone to hate that we are willing to take a non-opposing view and turn it into one of the most ignorant and idiotic fights we have yet to witness.  I ask now that those from either side of this gun control debate take a few seconds and consider my argument thoroughly then decide if this foolish pursuit is worth continuing or not then I ask that each of us step back and closely examine why we made that particular decisio...

Polls do more to reveal the real Donald Trump than anything else

For quite some time now, people have been trying to pull back the thousands of layers of Donald Trump to reveal who he really is and what he is truly about.  The public is quite well aware of the “blow-hard” tough negotiator and elite business manager he claims to be.  The public is well aware of how much of when he speaks is less about the specific of what he is or would do if elected and more about how wonderful and special he is.  The public is well aware that Donald Trump thinks so highly of himself that he is trying to help the public understand just how stupid they would be if he is not elected.  What the public may not have known but is beginning to see being uncovered is a more revealing Donald Trump, exposed by the latest Iowa and one National Poll and solidified by that one statement made at a campaign event after Trump learned about it. When Mr. Trump was asked about the 2 Iowa polls that had him trailing Dr. Ben Carson, he dismissed them as small pol...

Who or what is your Enemy exactly

An enemy is defined as “a person who is actively opposed or hostile to someone or something” while the Urban Dictionary defines enemy as “a former friend or acquaintance whose company is no longer considered to be beneficial to a relationship”.  Now I don’t know about you but man’s definitions of words we have used so often and have come to believe in are in serious need of renovation when it comes to the realization of the public today. These definitions should clearly show why there is so much hatred in this world and how we have been lead to believe that this hatred is justified.  These definitions tells us that it is okay, fair and just to look upon anyone who opposes, disagrees with, or cannot understand us to be tagged as an enemy and therefore destroyed.  We wonder why all this hatred comes from and we wonder how we, as a just society, could allow such actions to be a common part of our lives, well we need to wonder no longer.  We are the reason for all t...

The Best Thing that Happened at either Republicans Debates

Not much outside of media concentrating on WWDD (What would Donald do) occurred in the Republicans Debates except one of the most spectacular answers to a question anyone could have ever given.  A peak into what the majority of us would love to see more of and what we envision this nation’s political positions to always be.  I find myself agreeing strongly with some of the statements made in an article called “ 2 under-the-radar Republicans won big at the debate ” by Brett Logiurato for Business Insider dot com. Mr. Logiurato writes “ The GOP debate's hometown candidate just gave a touching answer on gay marriage. This GOP candidate barely made the debate stage —but he might be the one to watch tonight.  Four years ago, at a Republican presidential debate moderated by Fox News host Megyn Kelly, a gay soldier asked GOP candidates a question.  "Do you intend to circumvent the progress that's been made for gay and lesbian soldiers in the military?" the soldier aske...

Lesson learned and a Wish to Share, Everybody Listen Up

Learned something last night speaking to the wife that I did not know and thinking that I may not be the only male who didn’t know this, I wanted to share with you what I learned.  Now it goes without saying that men and women are as different in many things as night and day but what makes this wonderful in a way is that we can now learn so much from each other providing we have the spine and backbone to open ourselves us to listening and hearing what they have to say. Our conversation centered around why men and women have a very hard times communicating sometimes and the more we dived into that discussion the more agitated and frustrated I was getting because I just couldn’t seem to make my wife understand that we are equipped with a meter that monitors our manhood and when that monitor is tripped, very little if anything ever gets past that point.  She was trying to get me to understand that women have this unquenchable desire to make sure that the person with whom the...

The Confederate Flag debate will soon be the same regarding the American Flag

This may not be what you true patriots wish to hear but it does not mean someone does not need to bring it to your attention.  We see those who so support the flying of the Confederate Flag crying real tears about what they think is an ending to their heritage.  It is not but some would want nothing more than for those who truly believe in that banner to fall for this ploy and be willing to pick up arms and die again for its colors.  Too bad, things that really end only end in our hearts.  If you are truly a lover of the Confederate Flag then you should know that no matter where it flies, on Capitol Grounds, in a museum, in your front yard or attached to your vehicle, the love for that glorious banner will only die if you strike its true meaning from your heart otherwise, it shall live on as long as there are those willing to see it live forever. For those who stand against it and call it a symbol of slavery, racism and bigotry, you are also correct but let us s...
