Let’s not get it twisted and make no mistake, I have never been and will never be a Trump supporter but now that the choice has been made, it’s time to put away the pitchforks and torches and get down to the business of this country.  Regardless of how you feel either way, we still have a job to do as Americans and that is making sure that we minimize any and all damages by those we choose to lead us or those chosen to lead us by others. If you think that this election was stolen by the Electoral College, as I do, then the first thing we have to do is make a decision.  Do we remove those who made this choice or do we remove the power that they used to make it?  These are our only real choices because sitting around and complaining about the results will get us nowhere accept more frustrated, angry and exactly where those who have always believed that America was not the land of opportunity we claim all over the world.  If you think that those who voted for him w...

You may believe that it is not your fault if a police officer, regardless of color, shoots and kills another person, regardless of color but then you would be wrong.  Every decision we make will affect others either directly or indirectly and those decisions that we make are ours be responsible for.  Organizers of protests stand responsible for not making sure that those joining their ranks are peaceful or just looking to blend into the crowd and create trouble.  They are responsible for making sure that a peaceful protest be just that and those involved remain peaceful.  You cannot claim to be representing anyone if you fail to properly represent them.  The biggest division between Martin Luther King and  Malcolm  X was that King wished for and demanded non-violence while  Malcolm  was tired of being pushed around and wanted to push back.   Anyone with any sense of history can clearly tell which movement actually achieved...

There are stories like this happening all over this nation but why it is not breaking news or any television stations lead in is quite evident.  We call ourselves a nation of Christians but we act as though we are a slave to Satan and cannot resist him.  Breaking news is always news that shows us as callous, selfish, arrogant and righteous but we are all but one of those and that is righteous.  Our local and national news are often about the bad things happening in this country so no wonder people think that is all we do, so who wishes to step up and take responsibility for their actions, simply put no one.  Those in charge will say that if they do not have viewership then the ratings will drop off and they will have to close their business.  What they forget is the amount of true love and righteousness that exist within our society and would propel any business to the top if these were the stories that gets the attention.  Business and mostly everyone has...

Lately it appears to me that so many in the media is pushing hard for another Iraq except this time in Syria.  Again, none of those seeming to be pushing for this will be there to dodge one bullet or be involved in any of the fire fights which will erupt.  It appears this way because we now have a president willing to make sure that all other options are exhausted before committing our men and women of the military (boots on the ground) and those war hawks in the media keep compiling one question after another trying desperately to trap some spokesperson into a time line or particular statement. I say so often that many refuse to admit that media plays a really big part in keeping this nation divided as all other factors reported on.   Media seeks division because it sells and when there are no blow-ups, media can be found to light a few fuses or their choice of those they interview.   CNN choose Donald Rumsfeld to get his opinion about the Syrian airstrike.   Donald Rumsfield, are you kidding me?   Knowing that he would say something to get someone heated was a “no-brainer” and would continue to help sell their brand.   Major known newspaper now publishing an OPED authored by Russia President Putin as if what he has to say is in any way of the slightest importance to the American public. Listening to the expert pundits and journalists on cable news, it appears that the recent attacks by President Obama on what Mitt Romney has been allowed to say is being viewed as tainting the oath of office or staining the office.   Some say that the recent vitriol regarding Rev. Failure of the media to place as much emphasis on missing minorities as it does on missing Caucasians first came to my attention when I saw a segment of a HSN production of Dr. Drew Show.   I had not given it much though before and honestly I have no one to blame for this but myself.   I was comfortable with seeing the overwhelming coverage of missing people in the media and some parts of me was okay in believing that this was not happening as much in the minority community.   I now beg for the forgiveness of all for not helping to apply as much pressure as one man could in forcing the media and all law enforcement to give missing minorities just as much coverage and attention as they do for the others. Andrew Taylor and Ben Feller of the Associated Press penned an article called Senate Republicans vote to kill Obama's jobs bill and it was made up of just 4 paragraphs.   Four paragraphs, I mean that’s it.   The U.S. Senate can not pass a bill that they know very well is sorely needed by their constituents and all that get’s reported on is 4 paragraphs.   Where is the outrage? Americans are struggling to make ends meet.   Businesses are refusing to lift a finger to help but do not mind paying billions to buy congress and keep profits high.   They do not mind enjoying the protection that this country affords them but do mind helping to protect their fellow Americans.   Congress hired to represent the people but can’t seem to find their backbone to vote in favor of these people when they need them the most and all we have to say about this is 4 paragraphs.
