Could an Earthly Death be the key to gaining entry into Heaven

How many times have you heard that a person, who died, here on earth, told someone who were there at the time, that they were tired and ready to go?  Maybe they told someone earlier that they would not be here much longer before they took that last breath.  Ever wondered how they knew?  I remember Dr. Martin Luther King saying that he had been on the mountain top and had seen the Promised Land, and then he said, I might not get there with you but I promise we will get to the Promised Land.  The Bible says that hell is a place full of pain and suffering which describes living on this earth to a tee.  It would explain why the Bible asks us to rejoice upon the earthly death of a loved one instead of morn.  It may explain why the Bible told us, so long ago, that the wages of sin was death and tells us to not fear death and that if we must fear death, fear not the death of the body but of the soul.  Leaving here, this earth is only death of the body....

Jewel-Osco Steps to the Plate knocking it out of the Park while other Employers hide in the Dugout

ROCKFORD- A local TV Station recently reported that “a regional grocery chain will no longer ask people applying for a job if they have a criminal past.  Jewel-Osco applications won’t have a box to check asking if you have been convicted of a felony”.  It further reported that “According to Jewel-Osco that stopping the cycle of homelessness, joblessness “is one of the reasons a criminal background won’t stop them from interviewing candidates but they will still perform background checks as the final step to employment”. My Newest Life Lesson

I used to think that there were others who had a different talent than I did and could do some things that I couldn’t.  I’m now beginning to believe that I was wrong.  I am now beginning to believe that it is only a matter of two things which allows others to accomplish things that some can’t.  Those two things are desire and interest with interest carrying an additional second phase. I am now beginning to believe that the only difference between those who can and those who can’t is desire.  Desire is the lacking and wanting to learn what others are doing to achieve a goal which has thus far proven to be somewhat elusive to you.  If you have a desire to learn then you can learn anything from anyone at any time.  If you do not have the desire to learn then you may never reach that pinnacle.  If you do find yourself with the desire to learn once that is accomplish you must then develop interest.  If you have no interest in that particular s...
