So many are frustrated and confused as to what we have to do to defeat ISIL and many are considering that all that is necessary is to cut off the head of the snake but today, it has occurred to me that this is and never will be the way ISIL will ever get defeated.  Some are correct that military force is necessary but it will never end them.  Some are correct that it will take a diplomatic answer to solve this issue but that alone is also not the case.  So with that, quite a few are confused and frustrated so they lash out at anyone or anything else that is marginally offensive to them in order to find a place for their frustrated-laced anger.  So what do we do?  First we need to understand the problem before we can find the solution. Many have asked the question why America has not intervened in the conflict of the Ivory Coast and some of us tried to educate them that it was because both sides were about equal in bullets and bandages, it was not really a peaceful protest and no one from the Ivory Coast ahs requested our assistance but this appeared to be too complicated for many in the media to wrap their heads around. I am sure that this is a question asked by other far more intelligent and knowledgeable than I but it is something that I have been wrestling with for a few days now.   I think that I may have an answer but again it is only coming from a layman. The answer is yes and my proof is the number of countries whose leaders are now making changes to the way that they do business.   Some are heeding the voices of the Egyptian protestors and preempting their people by offering to change before they began to demand it.   I also believe that these events are also related to the huge number of jobs that American companies have moved overseas.   We all are aware that with anything American comes the American influence as well.   You have to look no further than the recent events where leaders have called for or in the process of changing their ways.   American companies moved jobs overseas hoping to take advantage of “slave labor” and lining their pockets even more tha...

Glen Beck made a very big mistake when he said that this protest was not about the people, it was and it is.   It says more about the drive to freedom that so many of us take for granted.   There are even a few Americans who wonder if sacrificing their lives in the streets of Egypt is smart and this coming from Americans in itself is quite rich. We know that this is all about the people when a couple of people with very cushy and safe jobs step away to side with the protestors fighting and dying for a little bit of freedom.   Two people from the State-run Television Station in Egypt walked out when they saw that they were controlled beyond his point of showing what was really going on in Egypt.   That took heart and courage on a grander scale and is exactly what happened when those who sailed the seas in search of a new world took flight.
