The Misconception and Misappropriation of Christian Values
You may recall the story of Jesus where the
Pharisees were lying to the people and the kings saying that he was violating
the Laws of Moses which at that time was and still remains today as the law of
the land. This was the excuse that they
used to not only beat, torture, and kill all of God’s prophets and messengers
sent before Jesus but the exact same premises that they used to murder Christ
as well. What they did not care to try
and understand was that Moses was just a man sent by God to deliver those laws,
teach them in his name and set the example by which they should live. This was the first convent and only after the
other prophets and messengers were slain by their hands, did God see reason to
send to us his only son to deliver unto us a second convent. These so-called religious experts and their
followers were blinded by Satan and could not see Jesus for who he really was
and they refused to listen when Jesus explained to them that he was not here to
violate or erase this misconception of the Ten Commandments being the Laws of
Moses, he was only there to enhance them.
These hypocrites saw Jesus as just another man whose pedigree and linage
did not match their interpretation of what a prophet or religious leader was. That was when they began to misappropriate
the true meaning of Christian values and shape them into what they wanted them
to be.
If this is beginning to sound familiar, it should
because those same hypocrites are alive and well today. The previous ones mentioned in the Bible old
bodies are long gone and now turned to dust but the souls of those have been
reborn into the human bodies that embrace this same style of thinking
today. You know who they are and you see
them every day. Even some who may read
this, houses some of those souls. These
are those who claim Christian values but don’t have the slightest clue what they
are. Values are not something that you put
on like a suit of clothing whenever it is convenient or benefits you. Values are something that we are all born
with and either chose to maintain them or sacrifice them. These values that the newly embodied
hypocrites call Christian is nothing more than worldly values that Satan has implanted
into their minds to replace the true Christian values that they had been born
with.
Worldly
values are defined as anything dealing with “wealth, power, pleasure, revenge,
fame, vanity and status”. So the
next time you hear anyone claim that they are all about Christian values, ask
them what they mean. If they attempt to
lead you down a path where it’s all about any of those things mentioned above,
please take a few minutes to advise them that real Christian values are
opposite.
We all should know the Ten Commandments as delivered
by Moses at the instruction of God so to give you an idea of how Jesus enhanced
them by way of delivery of the second convent under which all Christians should
strive to live by. I have compiled ten rules
that if compared to the original Ten Commandments will be found not to try and
erase or over-rule them at all. The Ten
Rules were mainly created because during the time of Christ, God’s children
faced a different situation than it did during the delivery made by Moses. God seen that many of his children were being
lost to sin and instead of allowing that to continue to happen, he made the
decision to offer us another deal where we will no longer be controlled by sin,
where imperfection was no longer an immediate death sentence, and where
receiving forgiveness was granted simply by humbly asking for it.
The first commandment says “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” and Jesus says “Worship
and Serve only the Lord thy God (Matthew 4:8-10)”. The second commandment says “Thou shalt not
make unto thee any graven image” and the Bible says “Honor God with your Body
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The third
commandment says “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain” and
Jesus says to “Practice what you Teach (Matthew 23:2-3). The fourth commandment says “Honour thy
father and thy mother” and Jesus says “Love your Neighbor as Yourself (Mark
12:31)”. The fifth commandment says “Thou
shalt not kill” and Jesus says “Be a servant to others (Matthew 20:20-28)”. The sixth commandment says “Thou shalt not commit
adultery” and Jesus says “Forgive those who sin against you (Matthew 6:14)”. The seventh commandment says “Thou shalt not
steal” and the Bible says “never get tired of doing good (2nd
Thessalonians 3:13)”. The eighth commandment says “Thou shalt not
bear false witness against thy neighbour” and Jesus says “Give unto those who
ask (Matthews 5:42)”. The ninth
commandment says “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house” the Bible says “Be
right with God through faith (Romans 3:28)”.
The tenth commandment says “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy”
and Jesus says “Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength
(Mark 12:38-30)”.
Now, can someone please tell me how these ten rules
violate any of the Ten Commandments? So
the newly embodies souls of the Pharisees are wrong again and what they say is Christian
values is nothing but a substitute called worldly values created by evil. There are no such thing as a Christian value
that puts profit before people, that separates us based on race, color, creed,
sex, sexual orientation, nationality or status, that allows us to treat any
other with disdain or disgust, that allows the lesser of us to suffer more than
the more fortunate, and especially that allows hypocrites to control the word
of the Lord. When Jesus delivered to us
the second convent, along with it came the power and authority to control evil
instead of allow evil to control and the freedom of choice. We choose our own destinies not those false
teachers who parade around with million dollar suits on a ten cent body. Just my opinion, I could be wrong and if so
ME CULPA.
