How Democrats can not only take back the House but keep control of the Senate
Media commentators, pundits and reporters would have
all of us believing that the mid-term elections are lost to democrats and
control of Washington is mostly in the hands of Republicans, an opportunity for
them to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
This is a lie and the proof of this is abundantly clear if those who
have the microphone could look past big money and their own personal
ambitions. They need only to get out of
their comfort zones and mix with the locals.
Not just those who think like them but spend a little bit more time with
those who don’t.
The next time you hear anyone say that the
Affordable Care Act is a job-killer and their only reason is it restricts
business from creating more jobs because it cost business more to do so. Ask them whether the business they refer to
are the same business that has stashed away over 21 trillion dollars in off
shore accounts? As them if these are the
same businesses that have been making record profits? Ask them if these are the same businesses that
have cut their labor force in order to increase their bottom line? This is how you combat these “talking points”
and finally ask them how many jobs bills has been passed by these same
politicians preaching on the economy.
Show tape of those who are still in denial of
allowing women to choose the direction of their own lives as well as allowing
all others to choose which direction that they wish to take. Show tape of them belittling gays,
minorities, women, seniors and veterans.
No need to say anything just let their words speak for themselves.
Lawrence O’Donnell had a gentleman on his show who
was the Executive Director of GOProud who said it better than I have ever hear
it said before. He stated that the
reason he switched to “No Party” is because 46% is tired of their leadership
not standing up to those who have hijacked their party. That’s 46% of Republicans so just 5 to 10% of
democrats and independents are needed to take back the House and keep control of
the Senate. Do the math.
The masses are tired of being controlled by the
lesser or 10% of any group and the same can be said about democrats and
independents. We too, are tired of
hearing how we should be feeling about a particular subject or potential
candidate. We too, are tired of being controlled
by the few. Soon the numbers will began
to reflect that the majority of all parties want a country where you stand
strong in your convictions but you do not sacrifice any fellow America for it. You can believe as you wish but you do not
have to own everything. Nothing in this
world belongs to us even if we possess a bill of sale or have a receipt; it is
only on loan because if we truly owned it, we would be able to take it with
us. The only thing we truly own is our
souls and nothing, a stance, a status, a particular position is worthy of
losing our soul.
