Proof PTSD Medication does more harm than Good
I
have said several times and many times when no one seems to wish to wish or
even care enough to consider, that PTSD is a factor but it is not the main
cause of why so many who are treated for this or other mental issues flip out.
The
best evidence can be found in an article titled “White House intruder an Iraq
war vet with "plenty of firepower" written for CBS News. Notwithstanding, the title strictly worded to
get more people to read it and so very misleading that it ignores the real
problem. The story should not be
concerned with how much firepower Gonzalez has or the lack of security around
the White House, it should have focused more on the drugs which are being
handed out like candy by the legal drug dealers which make mental symptoms
worse. The evidence is there but the
main topic of the piece is nowhere near it.
The
article reports that “The former stepson of a man accused of sneaking into the
White House said the Iraq war veteran owns "plenty of firepower" that
he could have brought with him if he meant any harm. He said Gonzalez has been driving around the
country and living out of his truck for the past couple of years, and that he
always carries his knife.
"I
know he's got heavy artillery, you know? He's got all kinds of weapons and he
was trained to use them," Murphy said. "I believe if he wanted to
make a scene or cause problems, he very well could have. But it's clear that he
didn't." The article further
reports that “Samantha Bell, who is Gonzalez's ex-wife and Murphy's mother,
said Gonzalez was honorably discharged for medical reasons and suffered from
plantar fasciitis on his feet, on which he had had some surgeries.
She
said he also suffered from PTSD, for which he had been prescribed several
medications. Bell said she and Gonzalez married in 2006 and lived together in
Copperas Cove, near Fort Hood, until she split up with him in 2010 because of
his worsening mental condition.”
Is
not the idea of prescribing medicine to make the patient better but his ex-wife
reports that he was getting worse. So
one has to ask, how and why. The answer
is simple, the medication does not even come close to reaching the core issue stemming
from this and many other mental issues, it only adds to those minor conditions
which grows by taking the medicine and then become greater ones. Don’t take my word for it even though my book
“The Veterans thirteen Stages of PTSD” explains it regarding veterans and
anyone else suffering from it. Look at
the statistics and compare the data.
Those who suffer but are not being infected with the drugs are maintaining
some sort of civil functionality while those who are being treated are
not. How long before someone really
loses it and medical professionals keep throwing pills at the problem before we
say enough and actually fix the problem.
