GOP Ushers in Sharia Law

If you have been listening to politicians in both Washington and the numerous states within the United States, you have heard that many proclaim their disdain for Sharia Law and some have even went as far as to make it against the law to use sharia Law here in the United States.

While this can be understood by many of us, it appears that these same die-hard opposers of Sharia Law are now going far and beyond to make sure that Americans follow some of the same principles as depicted in that law.  Many politicians and religious scholars freak out when anyone mentions homosexuality and run around like a chicken with its head chopped off.  They look for ways to insure that those who participate in this are never made whole and welcomed into this widely diverse and divided world.  Same can be said about Sharia Law.  It is reported that Sharia Law homosexual sex is illegal under most interpretations and even though the penalties may differ sect to another, many may impose the death penalty.  Someone should ask those politician and religious leaders if they favor a death penalty as well.

Another similar act that is now being forced upon America by those same fixed individuals who refuse to accept that we are all God’s children whether we see eye to eye or live by different standards.  The recent abortion bills that have been passed in some states and favored by so many in the GOP clearly tells any woman, whether Republican, Democrat or Independent, that she is not smart enough to determine for herself, her family and her God what is best for her and how to treat her body.  This demise began with the Terri Schiavo Case and has went downhill ever since.  In Sharia, it is reported that “men are regarded as superior and women are treated as deficient in intelligence, morals and religion, and must therefore be protected from their own weaknesses.”  Does this not sound like our current crop of GOP leaders today?

It can also be said that those religious leaders who stand shoulder to shoulder with those of the GOP who professes their hatred of Sharia Law while ushering in parts piece by piece, also have another similarity that often goes unnoticed.  Many believe that their brand of religion is better than others and those who wish to believe differently are nothing more than the mud you find on the bottom of your shoes if you mistakenly step into a puddle.  This feeling is reported to be fundamental to Sharia.  It is reported that only those who faithfully follow are full anything and everything.  It is reported that those who chooses not or serve in a different manner are only “permitted to live” by them and are only allowed to exist as long as they do not try and acquire the same status as them.  Maybe it’s just me but I see so many similarities that now I must wonder if those playing hard for the cameras are only doing it so that no one will notice their true purpose?

Now, most of this information was adapted from "What Is Shari'a?" published by the Barnabas Fund, January-February 2007, so the truth of it may be suspect but to actually take a few minutes and compare as well as ask yourself what are the chances?  One would easily see that this idea does strike extremely close to home.  Time to start questioning or maybe it is just me and I could be wrong.
