Did Whitney Houston Know it was her Time to Go?

I sat and watched the funeral on television and heard the wonderful words of those who knew her best but as they were talking, I could not help but wonder if she knew and had heard God call her home.  The more I thought about it, the more I began to see a pattern which leads me to believe that she did hear the voice of God calling her home.

I first began to think about this when her bodyguard of many years mentioned that she never came into his room before but had this time.  He mentioned that she laid her head upon his shoulder to tell him that “we are going to be alright”.  It was as if she was telling him in her own special way, that you were a great friend and a comfort to me so do not cry because we will be alright.  Then other things being said started to come to mind.  I recall of being told that Whitney attempted to contact a friend of her’s but they kept missing each other.  I recall hearing that Whitney had been advised against baths because she often time fell asleep.  I recall her reaching out to everyone and anyone she met and always mentioning her faith and strong devotion to God.  I just think that she knew and was trying very hard to let others know that we are going to be alright.

I believe that Satan realized just how much of an issue Whitney Houston was going to be in his fight to claim more souls and soldiers for the upcoming fight.  I think that Whitney knew that even though she may stumble and fall, that God would always be there to lift her up.  I do not think that there was anything that Satan could do to make her turn her back on God and when he realized that he did the only thing left for him to do.  Satan took her voice.  When Satan took her voice, I believe that’s when God stepped in and said to Satan enough.  You were given the power to take her voice but you will never take her heart, her soul or her faith.  I believe that God then looked at his earth angel, Whitney, and said to her “job well done my child, now it’s time to come home”.  In 1963 this world was blessed with a gift and as the years passed many began to see her as a treasure.  We all may have taken her for granted from time to time but as her funeral reminds us, she will never be forgotten.  To know that God loves all of us so much that he would not only send his son but angels like Whitney Houston should be all the proof we need that we are going to be alright.
