Obama’s job czar should be fired for lack of confidence

Contrary to those who see this title as assume that I am in the same league of all Obama-bashers, you could not be farter from the truth.  The truth is I love me some Obama and would defend him in any circumstance except for those decisions that I disagree with.

I disagree with his choice to lead his council on jobs mainly because I think that the CEO of GE is a flawed leader.  Flawed because his company is reported to have made billions but did not pay their fair share in taxes to help this economy.  Flawed because according to Zachary Roth’s article for Yahoo News titled  With jobs czar under fire, new data confirm offshoring trend “three months later, after appointing him  and despite some positive signs, employment rates have barely budged, Americans are more pessimistic about the economy than they've been in a while--and Immelt is under fire amid news that GE reportedly paid no taxes this year.  The Wall Street Journal reports that during the last decade U.S. multinationals reduced their domestic workforce by 2.9 million, according to Commerce Department figures. During the same period, those same companies increased their overseas workforce by 2.4 million.”

Being a CEO of a Fortune 500 company does not make one all knowledgeable in jobs or the creation of them, it only says that when it comes to making decisions which are in the best interest of his/her core group of supporters, and they are a force to be reckoned with.  We all know that the heads of industry are not the real reason that many succeed, it’s those who make the backbone of that industry which spells the difference between profits and loss.  Until Mr. Immelt has made good on the dodging of paying GE’s fair share and greatly increased the avenue to provide employment right here in the good old USA, I believe that he should be removed.  Removed not for lack of knowledge or ability but for lack of confidence to get the job done.  How long does it really take to look over already submitted business plans for dreamers of owning their own businesses, finding those that will make a difference in the unemployment numbers and giving them the backing necessary to get that start-up and expansion capital?
