Results of a severe lack of Adult supervision

I normally would not respond to articles such as this but could not help but to stand in defense of the president that I not only voted for but advocate for today.  I do not agree with all of the decisions that he has made thus far but before I engage mouth I always try to get the whole story.  While I know that one of the things that makes us the beacon on the hill is the freedom to speak our minds, I just wish that every once in a while we would take a few minutes to think before we speak.  The article of which I speak is the article seeded by Driftwood1 on the Newsvine site titled Angst and anger: Obama’s Libyan intervention send Huff Posters over the edge.  In it she reports that “it’s getting ugly for President Obama over at the Huffington Post. The lefties are torn between their irrational love for the god who walks among men and their complete disgust with his Libyan hypocrisy.  We, of course, gravitate toward the ones who finally see the light.”  Now I truly do not know who “we” are but if some of the comments are a part of that group then it would explain most of it.  I feel the need to try and answer a few of those comments posted and even though I already know that these will fall on deaf ears, it is my Christian duty to do no less.

·         For Debbie McPherson who commented “Would someone please stick the Nobel Peace Prize up his…….”  I would have to say that if you wish to try you could but the Secret Service might have something to say about it.
·         For bllnsinchnge who commented “The President had a real opportunity to act diplomatically. He had an opportunity to speak with congress or address the nation to express the call to take up arms against another sovereign nation. I never imagined he would add to the endless wars, he had a real chance to veto the UN from firing missiles into a civil war. What a disappointment.”  I have to say that the only time the president must get congress permission is for a Declaration of War and supporting a UN resolution is not that.
·         For SarahCuda2 who commented “At least Bush had both chambers of Congress voting in clear majorities, including a majority of democrats, to AUTHORIZE attacking Iraq.  Did Obama ever ask for Congress to authorize this action?”  I repeat my above statement and also wish to add, Bush got congress and the American approval through proven lies which in itself should be a clue.”
·         For Catfish1968 who commented “If we have enough money to do this, we surely have enough money for Social Security, NPR and Planned Parenthood.”  Review who were the group of Washington brigade that went after Social Security, NPR and Planned Parenthood.  Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar and give unto God that which is God’s.  In other words give the credit to the ones who deserve it and the blame to those who earned it.
·         For TheOuroborus who commented “You know what else you said you couldn’t stand idly by? The plight of union workers.  Here’s one liberal’s message to a so-called Democrat President, “F… U… !”  It was not this president who voted and turned over control of Federal and State Houses to Republicans.
·         For scoobynooby who commented “While our troops have killed and daily, kill innocent civilians and babies in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. What a complete Hypocrite. What a complete Poser. All I see is phoney teleprompter reading cold souless lying fraud and Puppet of the Corporate War mongering Elite.”  Will you say the same about Republicans who voted and fought hard to keep the tax cuts for the rich while proposing tax cuts and union busting measures for the middle class and poor?
·         For Chris1962 who commented”We cannot stand idly by when a tyrant tells his people there will be no mercy.”  Errrr… so how come he stood idly by for 32 days while Libyans were being killed?  Would you rather we just went in like Iraq?
